"Papa, can we go to the main deck?" Gustave asked as Erik stood in the bathroom straightening his tie.

"As soon as I'm done getting ready I'll take you down there." Erik said and Gustave smiled and hugged his father. Erik smiled and lifted him onto his hip. "Go tell Mama where we're going." Erik instructed and set his son down. Gustave ran out to the deck and began talking to his mother. Erik laughed and walked over to kiss his other children goodbye. Christine came back inside and he gave her a kiss as well.

"Be back before 1:00, that's when lunch is served." Christine said and her boys nodded before leaving the room. Erik held his son's hand as they made their way to the deck.

Christine played with the twins while the boys were gone. They laughed and kicked their legs as she tickled them and handed them toys. A knock sounded on the door and she got up to get it. When she opened the door she was surprised to see Raoul standing there.

"Raoul! It's so good to see you!" She exclaimed and pulled him into a hug. "What are you doing here?" She asked as she let him inside.

"I'm going back to France. I was walking the halls and saw Destler on this door. But enough about me, who are these cuties?" Raoul asked as he noticed the two babies lying on a blanket.

"These are the newest additions to my family, Melody and Harmony." Christine said and he nodded and kept his eyes fixed on the children. She had more children with that man. And he found himself jealous. How he wanted to experience love, to be a husband and father.

"I didn't know you were pregnant." He said and Christine laughed.

"A few weeks after the last time I saw you was when I found out." Christine said just as the door opened and her son and the father of her children came in. Erik stopped dead in his tracks when he realized who was there.

Erik came over to Christine and pulled her into a kiss. He pulled back and sat on the floor by his daughters. "It's nice to see you, Vicomte." Erik said and Raoul nodded.

"You as well, Mr.Destler." Raoul said as awkward silence filled the room. Christine rocked back and forth on her feet as her eyes wandered between the only two men she had ever loved.

"Well, I think I should leave. It's nice seeing you all. And congratulations on the new additions." Raoul said and he showed himself out. Gustave waved to him from Erik's lap. Once he was gone, Christine sat down with her family. Erik leaned his head on her shoulder and she placed her hand on his thigh. She just wanted to be home.

Erik held Gustave's hand as the carraige driver carried their bags inside the Opera Populaire. Christine held the baby carriers as they walked inside. Tears welled in her eyes now that she was home. James Destler appeared and Gustave immediately ran forward. "Grandpa!" He called and ran to hug the man he had grown close to.

James held his hand and walked towards them. He hugged Christine and shook Erik's hand. "I'm sure you want to meet your newest grandchildren." Christine said as Erik unlocked the door and they all asked down the stairs.

"Yes, I've been waiting to meet them since I found out about your pregnancy." James said as Erik unlocked the other door and they entered the house. He instructed the carriage driver to set their bags down and then paid him before he left.

Christine set the carriers on the kitchen counter and began taking Melody out as her husband came over and took out Harmony. "Melody, that's your grandfather." Christine said sweetly as she handed the child over to James. It was sweet to see how Erik's father interacted with the children. He stayed for dinner before leaving them for the night.

After James left, Christine took the children and put them to bed. Christine was about to take the twins to sleep in her bedroom when Erik shook his head and led her down the hall to the storage room. But when he opened the door a beautiful nursery was revealed. Christine looked up at her husband and smiled in thanks.

They laid the twins in the cribs before walking out and into their bedroom. "It's so good to be back here. I missed it." Christine said and Erik nodded as he took his mask off and set it on the bedside table.

"Tomorrow we have a big meeting to go to. Everyone who has anything to do with the opera house will be there. We need to get this season started." Erik said and Christine smiled. She took off her dress and looked in the mirror. The baby weight was gone, she looked like she did before she had the twins.

Erik removed his shirt and put on his pajama pants before walking over to the mirror. He took her hair out of the updo and watched her curls cascade down her back. She thanked him and walked to get her nightgown on.

They climbed into bed and Erik wrapped his arms around his wife. "I'm happiest when I'm in your arms." She said and Erik kissed her head and held her tighter.

"I'm glad I bring you happiness." He said and Christine smiled at him. They just laid there with each other. The silence was nice. Christine's eyes started to get heavy and she heard her husband start softly singing Music of the Night.

"You alone can make my song take flight
Help me make the music of the night."

By the time he finished his wife was sound asleep. He smiled and kissed her head before blowing out the candle and laying his head on the pillow.
