I headed towards the orientation hall and saw freshers seated. Some of them looked nervous like me while others were chatting. Our summer uniform included a white shirt with black trousers and a black tie; and for girls it was black skirt and black bow. I quickly took my place at the far corner.
'Hey, you look nervous.' A guy sitting to my left said. He wore glasses and had brown hair.
'Yeah, kinda.' I replied.
'Me too. By the way I am Ibuki Sato. I am in class 1-1.' He said.
'Oh great! I am in class 1-1 too.' I replied heartily. I was glad I found this friendly person. I needed that.
The orientation went well and soon we all moved out. Ibuki and I were talking about animes and mangas (our common interest), and then I spotted someone. Yeah, a girl.
She had simple hair tied in a messy pony, fair skin. She was talking to a girl. I don't know how my eyes fell upon her. Well...but wait, she had beautiful eyes. Coffee brown I think. They were very beautiful.
What...what did just happen. Did I just check someone out? Did I just think this girl had beautiful eyes. Yeah she did. So what. It's a normal thing I guess.
'Well, let's start this year.' I thought.
I headed to my class 1-1 with Ibuki. We took our seats next to each other. It was just the first day and I and Ibuki already got along so well. He seemed careless with the way he talked but he was also kinda funny and easy going. Maybe we will be close friends.

A few moments later, I casually turned and at the same moment the classroom door opened and that girl walked right in with her friend. And my heart skipped a beat.
