I had looked into the mirror for like 7 times already and I was still unsure of how I looked. The school is reopening today and my heart is beating so hard. I am completely restless. It feels as if every vein, every cell and every muscle of my body is dancing out of excitement.
The school starts at 8 and it's already 7 45. To prevent a late and dramatic entry in the class I took my bicycle and within 5 minutes, I was entering the school. I reached the class just 5 minutes before the first bell and the moment I opened the door, a wave of glee washed over me. I know I met her a couple of days ago but seeing her here, in school in that messy pony, felt completely different.
'Hey Takeru over here' Ibuki called out. Over the way I glanced at Ayane and she acknowledged my presence with a smile. It felt awesome. I am not a sick lovestruck person but when u like someone, you like someone.
'Yo bro how are you? Did you go anywhere?' Ibuki asked in an enthused voice. I guess as it's the first day of school and will be able to show some of his new basketball tactics, he was pretty active.
'Nah I didn't go anywhere.' I answered.
'Oh dude, I missed this place. Home seems boring once you hit puberty.'
'Me too' I replied genuinely looking at her.
