A/N:  Just to let everyone know, I left the name and explanation of the phobias beside the characters' names.  Also, this will be told from his point of view.

America  (Triskaidekaphobia – The fear of the number 13 or the bad luck that follows)

I hummed a bit as I walked into the kitchen, [name] already eating her omelette at the kitchen island.

"Morning dudette,"  I said.

"Morning Alfie,"  She said.  Just then the coffee pot went off.  "Alfie, could you get the coffee?"  She asked.

"No problem."  I said, already grabbing our mugs, pouring the coffee.  Just then I saw the calendar.  "Hey dudette, today's the 13th."  I said, making her choke.

"What?  As in Friday the 13th?"  She asked.  I nodded as I brought her the cup.

"Yep."  I said.  "I'm going to make some toast."

"Alfred, how can you be calm when it's the unluckiest day of the year?"  She asked.  I shrugged.

"It's just a number."  I said, pulling out the toast.  "Hmm... Hey [name], I think we'll have to buy more toast, there's only 13 slices left."  I said, making her squeak.

"Alfred don't eat that."  She said as I put the toast in the toaster.

"[name], what are you, scared of a number?"  I asked.  She blushed lightly, making me grin.  "You are, aren't you?"

"I just don't like bad luck."  She said.  I nodded.

"Right."  I said.  "But you know that stuff is nothing but a wi-"

Just then I was interrupted by the toaster bursting into flames as both of us watched it burn for a second as my pal Tony got the fire extinguisher to put it out.

'Maybe she sorta has a point...'  I thought to myself as we watched the flames die out.

England  (Trypanophobia – The fear of needles)

"Alright ma'am, everything is looking good just like last year,"  The doctor said, making [name] chuckle.

"Yep, I try to stay relatively the same."  She said.  The doctor nodded, looking down at his clipboard.

"Yes, now all that's left is the shot and you'll be done with your yearly check-up,"  He said, already walking out of the room as [name] became pale.

"S-shot?"  She questioned.

"Love, is something the matter?"  I asked, touching her shoulder.  She looked very much like she was about to pass out.

"I'm... just not a fan... of... of..."

"Of needles?"  I finished, getting a nod from her.

"Yeah..."  She said.  I chuckled and sat beside her on the table.

"It's alright love, no one particularly likes to get a shot."  I said.

"..."

"I know, would you like me to do something to help?"  I asked.  She nodded.
