I sit at the bar with a frown because it's New Years and everyone has someone to kiss except me.... the goody goody seventeen year old who disagrees on anything outside of her parents rules which has given her title as pure even though she's had sex before but her friends doesn't think that counts no matter how much she done it with her ex boyfriend but tonight she wants to do something outside of her parents rules for once.... be a little less pure at least for one night.
"Hey there, beautiful" a man says sitting next to me, a really gorgeous one actually
"Hi, handsome" I smile at him and he does too, I take a sip of my drink as he continues to talk to me
"How old are you? You look really young" he admits, well my fake id says that I'm twenty-four years old and I don't think a good looking guy like him would ever do anything with a high school student if he knew my actual age
"I'm twenty-four, I'm finishing college in a couple of weeks" I reply
"Okay, good because I thought you were like seventeen or something" he sighs
"Lucky I'm not, how old are you?" I ask
"Twenty-six, I just moved here and I'll be teaching when school gets back" he replies
"Wow, what do you teach?" I ask
"English, I use to teach a school back in California but I moved here because of a toxic relationship that I had back there and I wanted to leave it all behind" he explains
"Oh that's horrible" I frown
"Yeah well.... not every relationship is perfect. Wait, how rude of me! I'm sorry, what's you're name?" He asks
"Katniss Everdeen, and yours is?" I ask
"Peeta Mellark, this might sound a little too forward but did you.... want to come over my place? Only if you want to that is" he says, I look over to where Madge grinds on her boyfriend Gale and Annie on hers Finnick, should I go with Peeta? Or just stay here just to play it safe? Although this is my chance to not be the goody goody I am....
"Okay then, I'll come with you" I smile, he does too and we both walk out together now I lie to him about not having a car and I just say that I caught an Uber here with my friends. We're in his care till he pulls up to this apartment building, when he's parked his car in the car park he takes me inside the elevator then presses for the fifth floor out of this eight story apartment building. We finally get into his apartment, it's a really nice apartment well it's a studio apartment to be exact, I take off my jacket and look on the walls at the different paintings that are in such detail
