Chapter 11

"Why would I fire a good employee?" Bella's manager asked her. "You need to trust me, he isn't good.." Bella cried. The manager stood up, wrapping her arms around Bella. "I'm sorry, Bella. I cant do anything about it, unless if you show me hard evidence. I can tell him to take a vacation? If it gets worse, you're going to have to go to the police."

Bella nodded. She understood what had to happen. Bella stood up and looked at her manager. "Give him the vacation, I'll get you hard evidence before he comes back". Bella walked out of the office and went back into hers. She jumped backwards when she saw Christina sitting there with a bag filled with salads and drinks.

"Hey girl!" Christina excitedly said. "Hey" Bella said and shut her office door. "I told you i was going to bring you lunch. What's up?" Christina asked readjusting her body in the chair. "Nothing, mrs.boss is going to give Mike a vacation until I can prove he's been physically and emotionally hurting me." She said as she opened the salads for her and Christina.

Christina nodded and began to eat. "How's Corbyn? Is he still hating me?" "Bella, he doesn't hate you. He's fine. He's calmed down, he's been keeping a 'close' eye on me."

After a little bit, Christina gathered her things and began to leave. She left when Bella had a meeting about the celebrities they were inviting to the office. She grabbed her bag and slowly made her way down to the lobby, seeing as Bella's office was on the fourth floor, she sighed once the elevator stopped before it even started to move. The door opened and reveled a Mike with an devilish smirk.

Mikes eyes were bloodshot red and puffy. His cheeks were a flushed red and Christina seemed to grow scared. Mike pushed the bottom to close the doors quickly. Making it only the two in the elevator.

"Christina, right?" He asked turning his attention towards Corbyn's pregnant wife. "Yes" She said gulping. She back away once he kept getting closer. Her back was pressed against the cold metal walls. "Don't hurt me" she whispered and watched his eyes grow soft. She let out the breath she was holding in before feeling Mikes hand being placed over her stomach.

"Leave us alone" Christina said as she swatted his hand away from her child, well at this point baby bump. "I would never hurt something so precious." Christina pushed him away before clicking many buttons on the elevator to make it move and open. She felt Mikes hand grip around her wrist and she was pulled back against the wall.

Mike picked up her phone and noticed how Corbyn was texting her, telling her he was waiting by the elevators to help her carry the bag out to the car. He put her phone back in her back picked and kissed her cheek. "I'll miss you, babygirl" he said as he pressed his hands harshly on her pale, cold cheeks.

The elevator opened on floor two and he got out, leaving his scent on her clothes. She let out her breath and fell to the elevator floor as she started to hyperventilate. Once the door opened for floor one, Corbyn rushed in picking her up. He grabbed the bag and tried calming her down but also bombing her with questions.

She didn't want to lie to her husband. She told him everything from the second that he stepped onto the elevator till the time he left. Leaving Corbyn cursing and having hatred towards Bella grow.

"Hey, guys!" Bella said as she walked into Zach's, Jack's, Daniel's, and Jonah's house. Bella was holding a cake, in signal that it was time to celebrate. "What are we celebrating?" Jonah asked looking at the group of people in his living.

"New beginnings" Zach said as he raised a shot glass of vodka. "Well, someone started drinking early.. and it wasn't me" Jack said in attempt to make people laugh, but instead just made people worry even more about his drinking problem.

"Where's Christina and Corbyn?" Bella asked. "They should be on their way" Daniel said looking down on his watch. "Hey, I don't think Christina is coming" zach said slowly, watching Bella's face drop. "How come?"

"Come on Bella, you know what happened" zach said. "If I knew I wouldn't be asking what happened, Zachary." Bella exclaimed. Zach stood up after taking his vodka shot and stared at Bella. "Why are you here?" He asked making Bella feel worthless once again.

"What?" She asked now feeling the presence of the other three boys around her. "You let Christina get hurt. Who knows if letting you back into our lives will get my kids killed or injured." Zach said.

"Christina was hurt?" Bella asked turning around to the three other boys. "Wait, you seriously don't know what happened?" Jack asked as his eyes grew wide. Bella shook her head. Jack walked towards Bella, picking up both of her hands. "Mike harassed her in the elevator at your office."

Bella's eyes widened as she connecting eyes with all boys. "I didn't know about that" she said as she dropped Jack's hands. "Corbyn thinks it's my fault?" She asked feeling terrible. "We all do" zach said. "Zach.." "no it's true. We all think you are the reason that Christina was harassed. It's not that we think it, we know it"

"I had nothing to do I'm with it, you have to believe me" Bella said.
