Zach

"Today's the day." Zach whispered into Bella's ear as he helped her put on her necklace.

"Are you excited?" Bella asked and turned around, helping him straighten out his tie. "You'll get to see your babies today." Bella said smiling.

It had been almost six months since Zach cleaned up his act, ready to have his kids move back home. He was excited because he'd missed his children. He felt a hatred for himself for missing their sixth birthday.

"Hey, you'll be okay." Bella said placing her hands on his shoulders. She gave him a small smile, giving him the feeling of comfort in his body.

"Thanks baby." He said bending down a little to peck Bella's lips. She scrunched up her nose at the sight of her dark plump purple lipstick on his lips.

She giggled, wiping it off, and rubbing the pad of her thumb against his cheek. "Your mom is going to be proud of you."

"I hope so." He took a deep breath and smiled at his lovely girlfriend. He intertwined their fingers and they walked out to the car.

They met with Zach's mom and his kids at a fancy restaurant, thirty minutes away from his house. "Here goes nothing." Zach said and wiped his clammy, sweaty hands on his jeans.

They walked into the restaurant, hand and hand, both smiling and greeted Myta, Charles, and Rosey.

Zach began to tear up from the thought of treating them so bad. He grabbed them both and held on tightly to them while the hug lasted awhile.

"Mom-" He said after he stood up from hugging the two six year olds. "I missed you, I'm so sorry." Zach said and wrapped his arms around Myta.

Myta sunk into the hug, feeling the support of her eldest son. "I miss you very much too, Zachary." She whispered and kissed his cheek, hugging Bella once more.

The five of them sat down, looking through the menu, Zach playing around with his kids. Myta smiled at the sight and scooted closer to Bella.

"He really changed, didn't he?" Myta asked and with no hesitation, Bella nodded eagerly.
