"I thought I buried you and covered the tracks" Bella screamed out loud as she brushed through the knots in her hair.
"Turn off that trashy music" James shouted from across their apartment and flared at Bella.
"It's not trashy, it's real music" she scoffed and turned on her hair curler.
"Where are you going?"
"On a date with Zach-"
"Do you really think that's a good idea? I mean he literally just got his kids back and finally is getting his own life on track" James asked and sat down on the toilet seat, "I'm not being mean, I'm just asking"
"No I get it. He wants to go out, I said the same thing to him. He wants to go to this small cafe and drink coffee and talk"
"Okay we'll be safe"
Bella nodded and waved James goodbye as she tied her hair half up- half down. Bella slipped on a cute little dress and a jean jacket, spraying some perfume and putting on deodorant.
She stared at herself in the mirror and for once on her life, she felt good. Bella quickly walked out of her house, climbing into her truck and driving down to where the cafe was.
Bella looked around and finally spotted the rosey cheeked boy and sat down across from him in the booth.
"Hey, Zach" Bella said with a smile and felt Zach kiss her hand.
"Hello, my love" he replied back and smiled, "I didn't know what you wanted so I decided to wait until you were here to order coffee"
"Thank you" she said lightly and looked at the wall where the items were named, "something with caramel of corse"
"Caramel latte? I'll be back. I'm gonna go order our stuff"
"I can give you mon-"
"I don't want your money, it's okay bella. I can pay for you" Zach said with a smirk and walked away toward the cashier.
