Sam's POV

Here I am, sitting in my room full of guilt, looking at the picture in my hands of me and Mia. I'm such an idiot! How could I let this happen? But I will prove to her that I can be a better person, I will show her that I really do care about her.

Yesterday, after lunch, Mia took me to the skate park to talk. She told me that lately I've never been there for her, that I was loosing my care and interest for her and that she felt left out, invisible. I told her that I'm different now, that I am a better person, and I've realised I was a complete idiot for not realising what was right in front of me. She sighed. I gave her a big box. She asked me what it was and I told her to open it. It contained a skateboard and a helmet. I told her I was meant to give it to her at the end of the bush walk for our anniversary, and even though she did not believe me, she accepted it, giving me a second chance. I walked her home and couldn't sleep at all last night, thinking, wondering.

My thoughts often drift to when we were in the parallel world, to Blake, my sister. Man, I blame myself for what happened. And to think I couldn't tell anyone about it kills me more than it kills me that the others can't remember her..... Not even Felix.

So, here I am, contemplating what to do with my life, when out of nowhere I hear a Tap, tap, tap on the window. I open the window, letting Jake in.

"Hey!" I greet him. "What are you doing here, man?"

"We really need to talk." He says concerned. I nod for him to go on. Jake tells me everything that happened yesterday afternoon.

"Ok," I say. "First off, Mr. Bates? Really? And secondly, I had something like your little earthquake situation happen to me too." I tell him about me sneezing and the clothesline reacting to it like a hurricane.

We sit in silence. After a while Jake speaks up. "I think we should go see Andy. His house is only down the street and maybe he can give us some answers, if it's happened to him, then we'll be sure it's something to do with when we went missing."

I nod, "Sounds like a plan, we can use the bikes to get us there faster, bring one for Andy too." So we head off to Andy's house with 3 bikes, as I tell Jake the situation with Mia. He tries to comfort me, and I'm grateful.

We arrive at the Brainy Dudes house. When we knock at the door, we are greeted by Andy's mum, who tells us that Andy is in his room catching up on all the homework he's missed. We laugh as we go into Andy's room. Once a nerd, always a nerd.

"Oh, hey guys." Says Andy. "What's wrong?" We tell him everything and he tells us about his tap incident.

"So what do you thinks happening?" I ask.

Andy shakes his head. "I'm not entirely sure, all I know is that it has to be connected with our disappearances."

After a while of thinking, Andy speaks up again. "Felix!" He yells and we stare at him blankly, he sighs. "If there's one person that knows the answer to this, it has to be Felix! He's the one that brought us there and he's the one that got us home. He should know something about this!"

So, we start heading to Felix's house. We get there to see Mrs. Ferne in the garden, wearing a big, floppy straw hat. Mr. Ferne is hammering away at a few pieces of wood, nailing them together. We walk up to Felix's mum, oscar is on the veranda eating a sandwich.

There is a faint noise coming from inside.

Jake is the first one to speak. "Um, hello Mrs. Ferne. We've come to see Felix?"
