Raven's POV
( One week later )
It's cold, very cold. Felix and I walk down the street together, hand in hand. He is one of the best friends I have ever had and that's all he can be. But something is wrong. Felix stops at the same time as me. He can feel it too. It's all very silent, too silent. Suddenly, a huge figure jumps out onto the street in front of us. The beast hurtles itself forward right at Felix.
"Felix watch out!!!" I push him aside and face the beast myself. With the form of an overgrown lion, it stares down at me, saliva dripping from the hundreds of teeth in its big mouth.
"What are you doing Raven?!" Felix yells desperately, he is lying down on the side of the road. "Trust me." I whisper, knowing that he can very well hear me. I didn't plan to reveal myself yet and my uncle will surely kill me for it, but if it means saving Felix, I would tell the world.
I scream, jumping up and gripping the fur around the monsters neck. It shakes me off and I go flying into the air. I turn to bat form and then to human again as I land on its back. It tries to rip me off but I dodge its attacks with incredible speed. I grab onto its neck again and take out the knife from my pocket. I lash out and strike its nose. Blood pours out as the beast lets out a howl of immense pain. I lash out again and then dig my fangs into its neck. The monster explodes in a cloud of silver dust and I am left standing there with a knife and a face full of blood.
Felix runs up to me, his face full of shock. Oh, boy, what am I going to do now. "What-" he starts, his eyes are filled with mixed emotions. "Who are you?!"
"Felix..." I wipe the blood from my hands and my face and throw away the knife. "I can explain."
"Yeah." He walks up closer to me and hugs me tightly.
"I'm a vampire." I whisper into his ear. He pulls away but we are still so close I can feel his shaky breaths across the bridge of my nose. He holds my face in his hands and I put my arms around his neck as he searches my face with his magnificent brown eyes.
"Please don't run away." I'm almost crying. "I'm staying right here, with you." He replies as the rain starts to fall down on us and the rest of Bremin. Then I find myself saying 3 words I never thought I would say to anyone on earth. "I love you." He smiles, "I love you too." And then the most unexpected happens. He kisses me, and then everything turns to slow motion. I see things, fire, shadows, a swirling vortex of time and people screaming, dead people. I pull away.
"Did you see that?" Felix asks me. I nod. "But wait... If we both saw that then that means..." Felix stops in mid sentence then starts again. "You're fear, shadow, and time."
I nod again. There is no other explanation possible. "Come on." I say. "Let's go to my place."

We walk to my house, a huge mansion near the border of Bremin. It has obviously been abandoned for several years. There is Ivy crawling on the building and on the front gate, the garden is an over grown cemetery and the building itself has crumbled slightly. The gates open with a creek.
"Wow." Breathes Felix. "You live here?"
I nod, "Come on. Time for you to meet my uncle."
We walk inside a huge hall with a set of stairs right in the middle. I guide Felix up them and into a room. "Get dressed in here." I say to him. "I'll meet you down in the lounge when your done." I close the door behind me as I go up to my own room and have a quick bath.
After brushing my hair and putting on some make up, I get changed into black ripped skinny jeans, black wedge boots with buckles, black fingerless gloves, a band tee and a red short sleeve jacket. Then I put on my choker and my ring that protects me from daylight. I go downstairs only to see my uncle waiting for me. Wearing the typical vampire cloak and all that stuff, he doesn't look pleased.
"What have you done this time?" He crosses his arms.
"I know that you know what I have done, and I would like you to know that I had no choice." I reply.
"No choice?! No choice?! How could you possibly have no choice?!" He yells. He has an American accent, one far more different to my English accent.
"I could not let him die!" I yell back twice as loud.
He walks up to me and slowly runs his fingers across the cut on my cheek. "Oh, Raven. You are so much like your brother." He sighs.
Right then, Felix comes down the stairs and enters the room. He is wearing black jeans, a black jacket, fingerless gloves, and a simple black tee.
"Felix." I beckon him forward. "This is my uncle Ivan, Uncle, this is Felix Ferne." They hesitate then shake hands.
"Pleasure to meet you Felix." Says my Uncle a bit too exaggerated. "Now if you'll excuse me..." And with a turn of his heel, he is gone. I sit down on the old red couch next to Felix.
"So..." He starts. "Tell me about you. Who are you really?"
"Well, I-" I swallow hard. Just tell him, says a voice in my head, he'd tell you if it was the other way around! I know it is right, I have to tell him. "Okay. My mother was born in England, she was a vampire too, and my father was born in Transylvania, also a vampire. My brother is now 16, I am 17. At the age of 16, vampires grow to their full powers, so no garlic, no reflection, the ability to turn into a bat and so on."
"Right." Felix listens to my every word. "So, who is your family?"
"My mothers name is Magda, my brothers name is Vladimir, and my dad is... Is..." Felix grips my hand and nods for me to go on. I sigh, giving in.
"My father is Count Dracula."

Just so you know, all the vampire characters are from Young Dracula (except Raven who is my own character.) I decided to twist the story a bit and slightly cross it over.
