I entered back into the house hearing bickering, Ellie and Luke were yelling at each other about the non living court and not being able to tell me using simple words like, 'the court will get us' 'we cant tell her!' 'she hates us!' I laughed and leaned against the door frame staring at both of their faces.

They continued to bicker as I sighed when I saw Mr.shadow. I followed him as he went to the kitchen, I turned to him, making sure no one saw me. "Mr.Shadow, why are you here?" I tilted my head. He turned to me as his eyes widened and gave me a hug. "Little Lex. Why are you here?" "Mr.Shadow please answer me first" I looked deep into his eyes hoping for an answer.

"My name is-"

"I cant believe we cant fucking find her Ellie! I am worried sick! We are both fucking sick to her since she doesn't know what happens when-" Luke soon made eye contact with me then turned his gaze to Mr.Shadow.

"Where we you!" He hugged me squeezing the life out of me. "Well I heard you and Ellie fighting so I stood there and listened watching both of you then I left to follow.." I turned to see where Mr.Shadow was but he wasn't there anymore. "I followed my hunger to the kitchen so woo!" I smiled and gazed up at him as he let me go.

Ellie then took this chance to squeeze the life out of me. I laughed once more and looked at her. "I know about it. Don't ask me how. Just I know." my smile soon turned into a frown watching their expressions from happy to worried. "Who told you?!" Luke bombed, I could almost feel the house shake. "I cant tell you." I sighed as Ellie let go, now me being able to breath I saw Mr.Shadows feet, then turned back to Ellie and Luke. "I need to go to the bathroom peace!" I speed walked over to the bathroom seeing Mr.Shadow waiting for me.

"Mr.Shadow!" I whisper-yelled.

"As I was saying before, call me Rich" I nodded and realization hit me.

"Ellie?" His eyes widened before shrinking back down, He made his features more noticeable, leaving a black mist surrounding him light a holy light, but dark and sinister. He had the same brown hair as her and beautiful golden eyes that were more vibrant instead of black holes.

"You look exactly like her you know. You must have been a great big brother." His gaze softened by looking at me.

"I told you that both of you would make the best-est of friends. But how can you see me. No one else has, once you reach the age of 10 your suppose to stop seeing magic. How can you see me?"

I shrugged and hugged him. "She is amazing you know. She has the spirit of a lion fierce and always hunts down the right kind of pray." I laughed a little and looked at him.

"I miss her you know. I was never able to see her though. That's why I watched after you, you guys had enough in common that even with your differences I knew that you two would be great friends" He laughed softly I smiled at him.

"Now why are you here Rich?" He turned towards me as his face instantly dropped. "I am here to cause mischief. That is the second floor challenge that you guys must overcome." I nodded, "But how would that kill anyone? I thought people were suppose to die so only one could live?" He nodded. I sighed thinking that he will most likely create drama.

"Lex, you are gonna be safe this round ok? I cant promise that for the next floor or the last but I can get you to the third floor. I am going to do something really bad and I need you to not judge me for it ok? I got direct orders from the living court. Lex they don't like you one bit, but I convinced them to let you go this, just please make it to the end. Win this for you." I nodded my head as he went threw the door.

So the challenge has started.

I flushed the toilet to make it seem like I used it and washed my hands. I opened the door to soon hear fighting. "I hate you Ellie I just want to murder you right here and right now!" I couldn't recognize the voice but as I entered where the bickering commenced I soon met with Brittney yelling at Ellie, and Ellie taking it.

Brittney was the first to through the punch. El was easy to doge the punch but quickly shot one back, as Brittney dodged it. Their fighting seemed to never come to an end. Brittney soon spoke up, "I hate your stupid guts!" Ellie took a second to process what just happened. But during this time is when Brittney stuck. She raised her fists and punched her in the gut, resulting in El giving her a groan, a painful one.

Brittney brought Ellie's head up to her knee, banging in several times. Once she let go Ellie fell back, her brown hair sticky with blood. Her golden eyes showing sorrow and pain. She turned her gaze to me as I froze in fear of what to do. Brittney soon had her pined punching the shit out of her, in short.

Each punch harder than the next, screwing up Ellie's face into a bloody mess. Carter soon came into the mix getting Brittney off of Ellie's limp pained body. "Brit what do you think your doing??" A loud slap was heard, as her face made contact with his making his short blonde hair sway.

He soon let go of her hand but she was too late, El was on her feet as her fist made contact with Brit's face. She took several steps back as she gazed at El with amazement. "So she can fight!" She bitterly laughed as she took a step towards El. "Lets take this outside then."

They nodded as they walked to the door, leaving it open as they both walked onto the white painted wooden planked patio. The punches never stopped, my face glistened with many tears as they would never stop. I stood watching the fight escalate, from punches to kicks, they were going crazy. But then Brit had El as she quickly made process from behind her creeping quicker and quicker.

She came up behind El, quickly putting her into a head lock trying to snap her neck with no success as El slammed her onto the patio wood earning a pain filled grunt from Brit. She smirked as she popped back onto her feet once more, coming closer and closer to El. Brit noticed that she was right next the edge, and smirked.

As Brittney came in thinking this was going to be the ending blow to Ellie, she punched with as much force as possible. Ellie guided her down into her doom, the splash of the water gained many head turns throughout the house. She soon had the water eat her body as if it were a mouth swallowing its spit. Her body was viable on the bottom of the water as she lay on the flowers in the garden, the once lush blue water, now had tints of pink, as if it were changed by poison in its stream.
