When I woke up...well I really think Dick wanted to come in.

Why?

Cause he was standing at the foot of my bed.

"What the- Why are you in here!?" I threw a pillow at him.

He caught it.

"You're door was locked. I was curious. One thing led to another and here I am."

I yawned and shook my head. And then I glared at him.

"Don't come in here without permission Dick. I know it's been only you, Bruce, and Alfred since you were what? Nine? But I'm a girl in case you haven't noticed. I have different needs."

Dick pursed his lips. "I heard screaming last night. I wanted to make sure you were okay. Obviously you are."

Oh. I sighed. "They're just nightmares. I get then almost every night. But it's fine. Nothing I haven't dealt with before."

Dick walked around so he was standing next to me before hugging me. "We're here. If you need to talk."

I'll just add some names to that list then.

"Okay...off." I pushed him away. "I need to get ready."

Dick nodded and walked out, but he paused in the doorway. "I think we might be taking a trip."

"Have to do with the bird and nocturnal mammals?" I threw the blankets off of my legs.

"Yeah. Bruce will probably fill you in. Or not. Never really know with him."

Then he finally left, closing the door behind him.

I sat there for a good three minutes, or ten, just trying to get my legs to let me stand.

Until finally, my body actually decided to cooperate.

Getting up I grabbed a pair of sweats and a long sleeved shirt off of the pile. Really should put these away but... that's too much work.

If you're wondering about the shirt I really want to delay any questions as long as possible.

"Hairbrush, hairbrush, hairbrush. There it is."

I grabbed the unfortunately not blue hair brush and quickly ran it through my hair.

No way. I ran it through my hair. Man I just used it for a purpose it totally wasn't meant for.

I think I might have blown somebody's mind.

Anyway, I slipped out the door and made my way to the kitchen, where Alfred had already prepared breakfast.

"Good morning Percy." Bruce sipped his coffee, looking tired.

"Late night?" I cut off part of my waffle and threw it in the fire. "To Poseidon." I added a piece of bacon too. "And to Hermes."

Of course I whispered those last two bits.

If they try and question me I'm gonna need all the help I can get.

I may be an excellent liar, having learned from his kids, but...

Better safe than sorry right?

"I thought you only needed to through one type of food in the fire?" Dick questioned.

I shook my head. "Depends on a lot of things. And I really mean a lot."

"Like what?"

"How much you don't want to die." That might shut them up.

"I'm going to guess-"

"You never answered my question Bruce." I sat down and dug in.

He sighed. "Yes. We had a late night."

"Why?" Let's see how much information I can get outta them.

"There's a vigilante here in Gotham. She goes by Bluejay. And she stole one of Dick's uniforms."

I raised an eyebrow. "This is a girl. Who stole one of his uniforms. She'd have to be younger then right?"

"Not necessarily." Alfred said from behind me, causing me to jump. "The suits are actually made of a material that can shrink or grow withing a certain range. And it was a female uniform."

I stifled a laugh. "Wait. You're telling me that you have costumes for a girl Robin? What are they for? If Dick gets turned into a girl?"

Dick blushed. "Actually yes."

I died. I seriously couldn't stop laughing.

"Has that happened?" I fought out past the giggles as I calmed down.

"Not yet. But I wouldn't be surprised if it will."

"Okay. Percy, we're going to be going on a little business trip for the next week. Alfred will remain here but you need to come with us." Bruce sat his cup down.

"Okay...but why can't I stay with Alfred? I could probably help around this place."

"I appreciate the offer. But this will be the one chance to get away from this insanity." Alfred chuckled. "Besides think of it as more of a vacation."

Okay...

"Alfred is right. But it's also to solidify the fact that we have no connection to the Dynamic Duo."

"Really? Cause I would have never guessed."

"I have a suitcase for you packed already," Not weird. "We just need to go to the airport by noon."

I felt all the blood drain from my face.

"You okay Percy?" Dick asked.

"Yep. Totally fine." I swear if you-

"Good. Then I guess we should get going." Bruce stood.

Alfred sighed. "Master Bruce, she is obviously not okay with the idea of flying."

So much for master detective.

"I noticed but I figured if it was important she wouldn't lie."

I almost had to stifle a laugh at that one.

Almost.

"What's wrong?" My uncle looked at me.

"My grandparents, well Mom's adoptive parents anyway, died in a plane crash." And my homicidal uncle threatened to down whatever craft I was flying in.

But you know. That doesn't add anything to my fear of flying at all.

If Thalia was here maybe...but then I'd probably get murdered, have to deal with an acrophobic, is that the right word, daughter of Zeus.

But without a child of his I am so not risking it.

Sure I may have done a lot for them. But does he care? Nope. He probably cares more about his wedding vows than that.

"Okay... I guess we could drive."

"Where are we even going?" I swear if it isn't cross country...

"Happy Harbor, Rhode Island."

There you guys go.

I'm gonna do random stuff for the rest of my last day of a four day weekend.

So see yah.
