"So...where do you guys want to eat?" Wally questioned.

"The better question is why is she here?" Connor asked.

I looked up at Kaldur. Let's let him decide whether or not to tell them.

"She's here with me..." Kaldur rubbed the back of his head, trailing off.

"They're dating." Dick deadpanned.

"That's awesome!" Megan squealed.

"Hello? Back to the important thing. Where are we going to eat?"

Guess who asked that?

"There's a food court here." Artemis said looking at the map.

"Or we could go to...never mind. Food court sounds great."

We started walking towards the food court, with me and Kaldur trailing the others.

"Percy, what was that earlier?" He whispered.

I tensed. And I know he noticed.

Cause the ever polite, "If you wish to tell me," came after it.

"It's... nothing. Just something from my dad's side."

He nodded and took my hand.

And then we arrived at the crowded and noisy food court.

I stepped a bit closer to my boyfriend. Say what you want, but loud places are not good.

They remind me too much of the battlefield.

Kaldur squeezed my hand in reassurance.

"Welp. Time to see what I can get for a hundred bucks." Wally disappeared into the crowd.

"How he doesn't eat his mother out of house and home I don't understand." Artemis sighed before following.

"What are you going to get Kaldur?"

"I do not know. What about you Percy?"

I smiled. "Anything besides fish or seafood or shellfish. Allergies are fun."

Probably just gonna get a- ooo. A McDonald's.

Hades yes.

I ran over, and got a pretty good place in line.

So ten minutes later I had a Happy Meal.

And a parfait. And a hot fudge sundae. And a large fry. And...you get the gist.

Carrying my tray I looked around for the Team, and I eventually found them.

No they ditched me.

As I sat down, they stared. Except Wally and Kaldur.

Wally cause he was too busy stuffing his face, Kaldur probably realized why.

Demigods do have a higher metabolism after all.

So I'm guessing you're wondering what the others got.

Dick had a hamburger. Artemis had a slice of pizza. Megan had a thing of fro-yo which she was sharing with Connor. And Conner had a sub, which he was sharing with Megan. Kaldur had a salad.

So there. Now you know what they were eating.

"So...any reason you're eating that much Wally?"

"Any reason for you to eat that much?" He fired back.

I waved a fry in the air. "Metabolism is sped up from a bunch of different factors. You?"

"Same."
