"Ugh." I groaned, turning over.

Why can't I ever get a full night's sleep?

Although I guess that little incident earlier didn't help with my nightmares.

Speaking of those...

I gently pulled away from Kaldur and sat up.

Normally, I won't show any sign of weakness.

Guess that's why I survived Lupa. No sign of weakness even staring down the she wolf.

But...

No. Never mind. It's not happening.

I'm not going to let anybody see me like that.

"Percy? What is the matter?" Kaldur woke up with a yawn.

"Nothing." I looked down at him.

He frowned slightly, before sitting up.

"Are you sure? You are pale."

"I'm sure Kaldur. I'm okay."

"I do not believe that, but I will be willing to let if go if..." He trailed off.

"If what?" I tilted my head.

"May I...cuddle with you?"

I laughed. Okay okay. That's adorable.

I leaned up and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

"Sure."

His face lit up.

"Thank you."

He gently pulled me onto his lap, and kissed the top of my head.

"You know you didn't have to ask me right?"

"I wanted to make sure you would be comfortable with it starfish."

Well, guess that's better than before.

"Do you like that one?"

"Yeah." I smiled. "I love it."

Bruce

I stared at Dinah, holding Dick close to me.

"Dinah, are you sure about that?"

"They are kids Bruce. You know what all those emotions can do to people."

She's right. Sorta.

I will do anything to complete the mission.

Now here's where it gets tricky.

Because my mission, the one that will never go away, is to protect my family.

Both Dick and Percy.

So I will never do anything to jeopardize them.

"You're right. That reminds me, do you mind talking to my niece? She has nightmares."

"What kind of nightmares?" The blonde asked.

"She screams. I've heard her yell. Sometimes she's crying." Dick spoke.

"I thought you were asleep?" I looked down at him.

He shook his head.

I sighed and sat him down.

Dick didn't exactly appreciate that though. He moved close to me and pulled my cape around him.

He's still short enough to do it.

Lifting a hand, I ruffled his hair.

"Bruce!"
