I pushed my way between Kaldur's arms so I could sit on his lap.
"Watcha doing?" I smiled softly.
He sighed and kissed my head. "Papers for my father and research on different places for the wedding. "
"What were you thinking?" I tried my best to read what he had written, but most of it was in English.
I really hate dyslexia.
"Well...I was thinking about the beach near the Cave. Then we could have the reception outside as well."
I hummed and turned to look at him. "That sounds good." I moved my legs so I was straddling him.
Kaldur stared at me for a moment before placing his hands on my sides, letting them trail down to rest on my hips.
Leaning in, I paused right before our lips connected, allowing our breaths to mix.
That didn't last very long since Kaldur got impatient and sealed the kiss.
He started off gentle, hands tightening slightly as he stood up. Before I knew it, my back was pressed to the hard metal wall.
Kaldur slowly sat my feet back on the floor, pressing his arms against the wall on either side of my head.
He pulled away for a brief second, staring at me with a gentle smile on his face.
Then he pressed our lips together, teeth playfully tugging at my lower lip.
I parted my lips a bit more, grinning into the kiss.
My hands ran up his chest, feeling his muscles before they came to rest on his shoulders.
Kaldur broke the kiss and pulled off his shirt.
"Gods." I mumbled, eyes scanning his body. How did I get this lucky?
My eyes darted up to his face, where a smirk was etched.
I didn't get a chance to comment before our lips were back together. Then Kaldur started moving his lips, placing kiss after kiss along my jaw and down to my collar bone.
"Kaldur..." I murmured, tilting my head backward, opening my neck up to further attack.
My fiance took his opportunity, pressing more and more kisses until my neck was a mess of tingling skin.
I pushed him away long enough to get ahold of the material of my shirt, fumbling to undo the buttons.
Only a few were undone when Kaldur took over, eventually sliding the flannel off my shoulders.
This time it was Kaldur's turn to eye my body. Gently moving me, he pushed me back his bed before straddling my legs.
His hands rubbed gently over my stomach, once again locking our lips.
I could feel a sort of light heaviness settle in my chest as I kissed back.
I know he's holding himself back, just based on how his hands haven't went any lower than the top of my hip bones.
The moment I thought that, Kaldur's lips became rough and needy, hands moving to grip my legs.
Well then, I jinxed that didn't I?
But...I didn't say I'm not enjoying it. I wrapped an arm around his neck, trying to show him I'm okay with this.
I pressed my other hand gently to his chest.
"Hold on a second starfish." He mumbled, reaching underneath me. "Are you okay with this?"
I sat up and pulled off my shirt reaching around to take off my bra. I had just gotten it unhooked when there was a knock at the door.
"Schist." I swore under my breath shooting up to toss Kaldur's shirt back at him before putting my own back on.
"Kaldur?" Manta finally opened the door just as I finished buttoning up the shirt.
"Yes Father?" Kaldur stood up to look at him.
"Did you finish the papers I asked you to?"
"They are on my desk. I will grab them for you."
"It is fine my boy. I can find them myself."
Despite what his father just said, Kaldur walked over and sorted through the pile of papers. Then he quickly shoved a pile in a drawer.
"What are those?" Manta narrowed his eyes.
"Here are the papers you wanted." Kaldur avoided the question.
"Kaldur'ahm."
I rolled my eyes. "Wedding plans. He's been trying to figure out the location and stuff for the reception."
I swear...if Hera heard me say that...
My soon to be father-in-law nodded. "I trust you are inviting some of the heroes?"
"Yes and if there's any fighting I will kill somebody. No idea who, but I will kill somebody." I crossed my arms.
"Is that all Father?"
Manta gave another nod. "This is all I need for now."
He turned to go but he paused in the doorway. "Please don't sleep with each other in that way until you are off of the ship."
My face turned bright red. "Why do you think-"
"Your shirt isn't buttoned properly and his is inside out and backwards." I could hear the smirk in his voice.
Welp, didn't think my face could get any hotter.
"And if you do choose to do anything...try to be quiet about it, don't traumatize any of the new recruits."
He finally walked out, leaving the door partially open.
Walking over, Kaldur closed the door before locking it. He slouched against it. "Based off of how red you are, we are having the same reaction to that."
Nodding, I got up and walked over so I could bury my face in his chest.
"Next time how about we do it at the cabin?" He mumbled.
"How about we don't talk about this because I'll pass out from embarrassment?""
