PAUL'S POV

After a long day at the studio I went out with Jane for a nice romantic dinner. It was wonderful being back with Jane. I finally feel that life is back to normal again. For the most part.. Earlier in the week while the four of us were out and about I saw Adaline and Madelynn at the park with another man. Excuse me? I don't really like the fact that this mystery man is hanging around my child. Though I knew I shouldn't be upset over his considering everything, as the father I have the right to say no to this. So because of this I planned to go talk to Adaline and get to the bottom of what's going on.

I got into my car and drove over to see Adaline. This was going to be a long talk.

ADALINE'S POV

At the moment I was curled up on the couch when I heard a knock on my door. Walking over to the door I saw the one person I didn't expect. "Paul?"

"Yeah, hi Adaline." He said as he made his way inside.

"This is unexpected.."

He just gave a nod and looked around the apartment. "So how's life been?"

"It's going as well as it ca-"

"Who's the lad that you're dating?"

I looked at him. "Excuse me? I don't see how that is any of your concern."

He walked over to the side table and picked up a picture of Isaac and I. "Ah, this must be him."

I went over, took the picture from him and sat it back down. "Yes, it is. His name is Isaac. How did you know about him?"

"The lads and I saw you two playing with Madelynn at the park a few days ago. Speaking of, where is she?"

"With my brother."

"Great, I don't mind waiting." He said as he made himself comfortable on the couch. "Maybe if I'm lucky I'll see Isaac too."

I crossed my arms and looked to him. "Paul, why are you here?"

"To find out about who you're dating. I don't want another man raising my daughter."

"You haven't seen her since February!" I yelled. "It's July now. You chose to be with Jane and with that you gave up all of your responsibilities as a father. The major one of those being seeing your child."

"I just want to know who this lad is that's raising my child."

"He's a wonderful person and he makes me happy. You know you could be raising your child, but you're apparently 'not ready to be a father.' So I don't know why you're interrogating Isaac."

He looked around my flat and pointed at all of the moving boxes. "What's all this?"

"Nothing of your concern."

"Are you moving?"

I rolled my eyes. "As I said, it's none of your concern."

"Where are you moving to? Out of London?" He crossed his arms, giving me this look of irritation. "will not allow you to do that."

"You won't allow me? We aren't together anymore, I can do what I want."

Before Paul could say anything there was then a knock on the door. I went over and opened it to reveal Ringo standing there.

"Hullo Addie!" He smiled. "I don't mean to bother you so late, but I have something for ye. I just wanted to drop off Madelynn's blanket, we found it after the kids' play date."

"Thank you so much for dropping this off." I said as I took it from him. "I was afraid we lost it."

"We also have some boxes at home if you still need them."

"I do need a few more. I can pick them up tomorrow."

"Ringo?" Paul said as he walked over to us.

"Paul..Mate what are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing. I forgot you two still talk.."

"Just because you and Addie broke up doesn't mean I still can't be friends with her." Ringo said. "Why do I feel that you're here causin' some kind of problem?"

"I don't think you should get involved, so I suggest that you leave."

"I think you should go and leave poor Addie alone, you've caused her enough."

The two of them then began to bicker back and forth. I continuously tried to intervene, but that didn't work.

"ENOUGH!" I yelled. "Can you two shuddap for a minute?!" They both fell quiet as I looked at Ringo. "Ringo, it's alright. I can handle this. Thank you again for droppin' off Madelynn's blanket."

"Of course Addie, we'll see you soon." He then shot Paul a glare and made his way out.

I set Madelynn's blanket down and turned to Paul. "Is there anything else you need?"

"I need to make sure you don't move away. As I said I won't allow you."

"If this is the only reason you came here then I suggest you leave."

He stood up and walked out as I slammed the door behind him. Letting out a small cry I sat on the ground, holding my head in my hands. Would this ever end?
