ADALINE'S POV

Things are always interesting between the Fab Four anymore, aren't they? If it's not one thing, it's another. At the moment our new issue is management.

John, George and Ringo had asked Allen Klein to be their new manager, much to Paul's dismay. This lead Paul to ask John and Lee Eastman to be Apple's General Counsel to look over things. Paul and I knew the Eastmans through Linda Eastman, a photographer we had met a while ago. Linda had mentioned how her father and brother were attorneys, and so they decided to help us out with this whole business manager situation.

Currently Paul, the kids and I were in New York on a little vacation. Well, partial vacation. Paul was also meeting with the Eastmans about this whole situation.

"Daddy! Daddy! Looky!" Madelynn yelled as she pointed out of our hotel window.

He rushed over, picked her up and looked outside with her. "What is it, darling?"

"Look at all the people!"

I couldn't help but giggle as I got Matthew changed.

"I know, love! This is such a big city with so many people!" He spun her around and came over to us. "Are you three going to be okay while I go to the meeting?"

"Of course we will. I was probably just going to take them to Central Park and walk around town for a bit. I want to do some exploring. This is my first time in the states since I was a kid."

"Just promise me that you'll be careful.." He kissed me gently before doing the same to the kids. "Mady, love, make sure to be good for Mummy, okay?"

"Otay, Daddy!"

"We'll see you in a few hours. Good luck with your meeting."

"Thank you, darling."

With that the kids and I left the hotel and began to explore the city. We walked around and went into some little shops—the kids both excitedly finding new toys that they want. After shopping stopped to get something to eat and walked through Central Park.

"Mummy!" Madelynn tugged on my jacket and pointed behind us. To my surprise I saw Linda Eastman and her daughter Heather walking towards us.

"Linda! I thought you were out of town this weekend."

"My schedule got moved around within the last week. My brother and Paul told me that you were taking the kids for a day out in the city, so I thought I'd get Heather and we'd come join you."

"I'm so happy that you did! I don't think our little ones have met." I smiled and kneeled down to get closer to the kids' level. "Madelynn, this is Linda's daughter, Heather. And Heather, this is our little Matthew." I said, tickling him lightly as he giggled.

Heather and Madelynn nervously looked at each other.

"Why don't you three come back to ours and the kids can play? My dad's house isn't too far from here. I can call the office and Paul, my dad and brother could meet us there?" Linda suggested.

"That sounds lovely." I smiled

We followed Linda as we got onto the tube. It wasn't long before we arrived at Mr. Eastman's house.

"Your father's home is beautiful." I looked around.

"Thank you so much!" She said as she took of Heather's coat. "Sweetie, why don't you take Madelynn and go play with your toys?"
