Chapter 1 - In the beginning

ASH POV
I couldnt believe it. I had lost again.How could I have gone home like this?

"Pika?" I heard a voice. I quickly came out of my day dreaming state. Pikachu stared at me as if to ask if i was okay. I gave him a simple nod and a small smile. As we took our final steps towards the white wooden door i took a deep breath. I hoped that my mum wouldn't be ashamed of me. Finally i slowly turned the door nob, opening the door revealing my mum sat at the bottom of the stairs. As she saw me , she slowly sat up."Hello mu-" I greeted. "Hello ash this way please." She said hastily. I was confused at that point and didnt know what to say so i followed her without saying a word. She lead me into the sitting room where I found all my former travelling companions , Misty, Brock, May, Dawn, Max, Tracey, Cilian, Iris, Bonnie, Clemont and Serena, and Gary sat down drinking tea. I could tell the atmosphere was tense the moment i walked in."uh hey guys. what are you all doing here?" I asked while rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly and smiling. Nobody said anything for a moment or so until Serena finally spoke." Ash we have something to tell you,"She mumbled. " We think... We think.." She froze. She looked around the room for reasurance from my other friends. " We think you should just give up your dream to become a pokemon master!" She finally blurted.I Couldnt believe it. They all eagerly awaited my response. " Yeah as if. My whole life has lead up to become a pokemon master.Im not going to give that away." I Laughed. "WE ARE SERIOUS. THIS ISNT A JOKE ASH."Brock shouted. "Give it up Ash" Gary said. "NO. YOU CANT MAKE ME." I screamed. With that, everyone suddenly jumped up and surrounded me. The all began chanting "Give it up" as they slowly closed in on me. I could feel pikachu becoming very stressed by that and he began having small sparks in his cheeks. All of a sudden sleep powder was dispurced over pikachu and me. I dropped to my knees. I was too weak to stand."Why are you doing this?" i whispered as i fell flat on my face. "He gave us no choice" A voice said. Everything began to slowly fade away.
