Chapter 5 - Team Rocket

"Okay then Meliodas. As you have been chosen specifically by me, You will be given a private tutor and a private training area." Giovanni declared. We had finally arrived at our destination, The Team Rocket Base Headquarters Of Alola . As Giovanni walked through the slidey glass doors into the reception everyone stood to attention immediatley. I figured out that he was not someone to cross. He walked up to the front and spoke to the women behind the desk. " Get this boy training uniform and a new pokemon ID under the name Meliodas-" He stopped and turned around to look at me. " What would you like your last name to be ?" I thought for a moment and finally replied " Wrath, Meliodas Wrath." He nodded and turned back around to face the woman. " You heard the boy; Meliodas Wrath." She gave a quick "Yes sir" and sent her assistant to fetch me some training uniform. A few seconds later the assistant came back with a green tank top with a black "R" on the front and green shorts. I smiled at him in appreciation. " Jessie, James and Meowth. I have a job for you three," He said as he stared at a plant pot with three figured hiding behind."Take Meliodas to room 1000." Everyone in the room gasped. Jessie, James and Meowth scampered out from their hiding place and all bowed at Giovanni and said" Yes sir." They all glanced at me and opened their mouths in shock. " This way please A- , Meliodas."

They lead me through a long corridor. I could hear them whispering to each other. " What's the twerp doing here?" " Don't call him that , he is obviously special or else the boss wouldn't have put him in room 1000." "God what I'd do to have room 1000. I heard it's like a 5 star hotel." I had had enough of people talking about me behind my back. "uh hum!" I said. They all instantly stopped and stared at me. " Yes twir- um sir." "Would you mind not whispering about me. If you want to ask questions then just ask me instead of assuming why i'm here." I said. "Yes sir"they responded. After a few seconds of silence Meowth finally spoke" So why are you are you here?" He questioned." Because I was offered and i have nowhere else to go." I sighed. They looked at one another and to my relief, they decided not to ask anymore questions. In that space of time we had climbed up 10 flights of stairs had head reached the top floor. The top floor only had two rooms. One of which read "Giovanni" in gold on the front of the door. It had an iris scanner aswell as a fingerprint scanner. The other door had " Meliodas" written in silver on the door. It also had a fingerprint sensor and a keyhole. " Just set up the finger recognition and it will give you the key. Whenever you use they key you will have to scan your finger to unlock the door." James clarified. They all gave me a quick bow and ran down the stairs as quickly as possible. I set my fingerprint and a key on a necklace came out. I put the key in the lock and confirmed my identity. When the door opened it revealed a giant onsuite. One corner had a fourposter Queen-sized bed. Another corner had a posh kitchen. One corner had a desk with an imac pro sat on it and a letter. The whole of the left wall was a massive cuboard filled with clothes ranging from swimming shorts to tuxedos. The side facing the door was a giant french window which lead to a balcony with sunbeds . The balcony overlooked a beautiful beach. On the horizon the sun was setting and it was a gorgeous view. 

I walked over to the desk and read the letter:

Dear  Meliodas,  Please meet me in the great dinning room at 8PM so we can discuss your future here at Team Rocket. Here is a map to help you get around. Also, get rid of your phone and smartwatch, if you have them, as they can be tracked.

I glanced at the clock on the wall. It was 7PM. I didnt have my phone on me nor did i have my smartwatchas they were taken off me when i was locked in the basement. I took a quick shower and changed into a black suit which mysteriously fit me perfectly. I tried to put on a red tie but it failed miserably so i ended up finding a clipon one.  The time was 7:45PM. I had just enough time to not be late. I grabbed the map and put my key around my neck. I ran out the door and followed the map.

I finally reached The Great Dinning Room. Giovanni was waiting for me. He sat at the farend of a long wooden table. He motioned for me to go sit next to him.  "Meliodas, I'm glad you made it here easily. Did you do as i asked?"He asked. "I didn't have my watch on me nor did i have my phone, they are all back at Pallet." I answered. " Okay. Lets get on. What would you like your first pokemon to be? You can choose any pokemon at all." I thought for a moment. This decision would effect the playout of the rest of my life. " Lucario will be my pokemon." I stated.  Throught the next hour, i was asked many questions which would go towards my new identity. At the end I waited a few moments for my new Pokedex. I was then handed it. It read :

Name : Meliodas Wrath

Age : 10 (updates automatically)

Birthday : 1/01

Home Region : Alola

Home town : Iki Town

Starter pokemon : Lucario

Trainer Number : 898769

Number of badges : 0

Number of Pokemon : 1

"Now, tomorrow you start training. It will last one year and then you will be free to do as you please as long as you hand over one pokemon per week or one human per month for our cause untill you are 15. When you are 15 I have something planned for you. Go get some rest. Big day for you tomorrow." 

I walked out of the dinning room and back up to my room. When i entered my room i found a pokeball on my desk. It had black engraved writing on it in japanese. I couldn't read it until the letters changed themselves into English. It read "Lucario". At the time i thought that the pokeball was programmed to change to the language you understood and i didnt think much of it ,but boy was I wrong. " Lucario come out !" I ordered as i pressed the small silver button in the middle of the ball. A blue light spurted out onto the floor. It began to vanish but in it's place stood a scared Lucario. " It's okay little buddy ,  I'm not going to hurt you." i whispered. It was obvious that lucario had gone through alot before finding itself infront of me. I nelt down and gave it a big hug. After that it felt alot more relaxed. "Thuh thuh thank you trainer." It said. I stepped back in shock. I had never had a pokemon that talked before. " That's okay." I smiled. Lucario was also shocked by that. " You can understand me?" It asked. I nodded. "Not many people can do that. Only ones with special powers can." I was startled by its comment. I didn't have special powers, did I?

Next time i will use brackets for pokemon speech
