The finals (Oak Pov)
Meliodas and his Lucario shared deep glances at each other as they waited for my grandson, Gary. They looked as though they were communicating through their brainwaves. Gary finally tred up the steep stairs onto the raised platform. I focused my view on Meliodas as he watched Gary emerge from the opposite side of the field.
They started the battle and Meliodas was only finding it slightly hard to completely destroyed Gary's pokemon. I wasn't very suprised that Meliodas was doing so well, he had defeated all the other opponents without a sweat whereas Gary had struggled his way to the finals. Eventhough many of my anticipated thoughts about the match were correct, there were a few things that shocked me. Half way through the battle, Meliodas froze. It looked as though dark matter surrounded him. After that event, Meliodas's manner changed. He became less emotional and became completely monotone. Also he seemed to fighting himself. It was as though his true nature had awoken. Once he won, he returned to his normal self but then started walking out of the arena. To everyone's suprise Lusamine herself stood between Meliodas and the exit. Suddenly, team rocket flew down from above. Delia clutched my arm and held Pikachu, who was on her lap, tighter.
"It will be okay Delia, I won't let them take Pikachu." I assured her.
Team rocket began chanting their annoying entrance theme and revealed to everyone why they had appeared before us. They were after Meliodas. It made sense as he was now officially the strongest pokemon trainer in the world, or dare I say the strongest pokemon master in the world. When Meliodas refused to go with them, they looked shocked as if they expected Meliodas to willingly walk into the hands of the biggest criminal organsiations in the world.
"I hope this misfortune will not force us to post-bone our wedding." Delia whispered to Pikachu and myself.
"I'm sure it won't. Jessie, James and Meowth are so dimwitted that it wouldn't be possible for them to create such a commotion that we would have to." I replied untrusting of my own words.
I noticed that a few feet away stood a pokemon wearing a Pikachu costume. It was glaring at Pikachu as if Pikachu had tried to kill it. The hate in its eyes was almost identical to what Meliodas had everytime he looked at Delia and Pikachu. The unidentified pokemon growls grew louder the longer it stared at Pikachu. My attention had been on the curious creature and i had completely forgotten about Team rocket.
"B...B Fine then. Mimiku..? Arrr would you just leave that rat. Wait that's Pikachu. I'm sure the boss would love it." Jessie said.
I looked at Delia and she gripped Pikcahu tighter. I then trailed my gaze to the mysterious pokemon who I realised was Mimiku.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." Meliodas shouted.
His response confused me as much as it did Jessie, James and Meowth. He had acted as though he had despised Pikachu from the very first time he met Pikachu. Jessie, with hesitation, launched an attack at Meliodas. Meliodas's Vest shred into a million pieces revealing a large scar across the whole of his back. I immediatley thought of the Captain who attended Ash's funeral. They suspiciously had almost the same scar on their backs. Not only that, but they both had a Loyal Lucario at their sides. I found the facts very curious indeed as did, I observed, Pikachu. Meliodas began to run in our direction and picked Pikachu. Meliodas's face turned to an expressio which you would expect someone who had just been hit in the face would have. He looked hurt on the inside.
"Pika Pikachu?" Pikachu Pikad.
"Shut up Pikachu." Meliodas ordered coldy.
Meliodas put Pikachu down and rummaged through his bag. At this point I was sceptical about trusting Meliodas. He was a mysterious man who somehow resembled the Captain. Meliodas took out a pokeball with a small lightning bolt on it at the front. I recognised that very sphere. It was Pikachu's own ball. Delia noticed the ball and paniced.
"No you can't d..." Delia exclaimed but it was too late.
"It will be safer in there." He explained.
"Oh...just please let it out as soon as they are gone." Delia pleaded.
Meliodas obviously ignored Delia's plead and continued his conversation with Team Rocket.
"Leave now or else you will have to face me." Meliodas declared.
Jessie, James and Meowth looked at one another in confusion and fear. They quickly jumped back into their hot air ballon and levitated up. Meliodas turned and headed for the exit once again but he was stopped by Lusamine and her daughter. From that point I knew Meliodas had to be trouble. He had tried to make a run for it with Pikachu in captivity. I knew not to trust him for a second. Fortunatley it looked as though on the other side of the arena Meliodas had been stopped by Lusamine's body guards. It appeared to be that they were having some form of dispute. I noticed that at one point something inside of Meliodas had snapped. He became angry. He broke free from the bodyguards and assulted them. He gave a smirk of pleasure as the men groaned in pain. He began to trod out but he stopped. He turned around slowly and knelt down openeing his bag. He pulled out a green grenade shaped object. I knew it couldn't be good. I hugged Delia just before meliodas threw the item onto the floor. I thought it was a bomb so I shielded Delia. Luckily, it was only a smoke grenade. The arena filled with thick grey smog. I couldn't see a thing and niether could Delia.
"Oh no Gary is in their!" I thought.
In a panic i jumped up and ran further into the smoke. Delia followed closely behind because she couldn't bare to be alone. We walked aimlessly for a few moments until i spotted a dark figure.
"Do you want to know where your grandson is?" the figure asked.
I recognised the voice. It was Meliodas. I knew he had done something to Gary.
"Of course i do!" I yelled.
"You'll be joining him right now."
I saw a grey sphere thrown in my direction. I felt myself being sucked into it. I was in an endless black void. I had a strange ominous feeling. I didn't understand where I was or why I was their. I heard muffled voiced surrounding me. I tried to look around for an exit to this strange realm but I was only met with darkness.
