Chapter 20 - Finals part 2

"Arcanine come out!" Gary yelled as he opened his first pokeball.

"Decidueye out you come!" I shouted in turn.

"WE HAVE ARCANINE VS DECIDUEYE." The speakers commontated.

Battle start

"Arcanine use fire blast." Gary ordered

"Dodge it then use brave bird." I said calmly.

Decidueye dodged the attack and landed his brave bird. It was a critical hit yet arcanine was not down.

"The hell? Arcanine should be down by now. He is only around level 372 and shouldn't have survived that attack as Decidueye is level 1009. He has to be cheating using those drugs. I could call it out and get him disqualified but where is the fun in that." I thought to myself. I knew Lucario could hear what I was thinking so I didnt need to inform him about my findings.

"Grr Flamethrower Arcanine."  

"I dont need to tell you to dodge. As it is our last battle in this tournement I will give you the freedom of choosing your own moves." I knew it was a treat for him as he loved doing things hid own way.

Decidueye dodged the attack ,by flying up into the sky, and used spirit shackle. Spirit shackle hit Arcanine. Arcanine stood weakly for a few moments but dropped to the floor.

"Get up of your lazy ass Arcanine. Get up now I said." Gary shouted furiously.

Arcanine began to get up but Decidueye hit him with razor leaf before he could get up any further. He dropped to the ground once again.

"ARCANINE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE. TAKE OUT YOUR NEXT POKEMON. JUST A REMINDER THAT YOU MAY SUBSTITUTE POKEMON." The speakers announced.

Gary called in his pokemon so I decided to do so too. Gary then sent out his Nidoking and I sent out Persian. Nidoking had a level of 380 where as Persion had a level of 1013.

"Lucario I just realised that I can read pokemon levels by just looking at them. Must be a new power emerging  but I don't even know what these powers are for or from." I thought.

"Nidoking Mega horn."

"Persian dodge and use fury swipes."

Nidoking went to attack but persian dodged and used fury swipes 5 times on him. Nidoking stepped back in pain.

"Nidoking Earthquake."

"Stay down low."

The ground began to violently shake and persion cooped down low.

"Nidoking while the ground is shaking use Mega horn."

"Persian do the move we discussed." We hadn't actually discussed the move but I was going to tell him what to do through telepathy. "Jump onto Nidoking and just iron tail to stay on it."

Nidoking charged at Persian. Persian jumped and landed ontop of Nidoking. Persian jabbed his iron tail into Nidoking's back. Nidoking tried to shake Persian off but was unable to.
