Chapter 29 - Do the devils bidding

Over the next few weeks,  Giovanni asked me to do many evil tasks. I killed many humans but I still refused to kill any pokemon. Giovanni got so mad that he began using a collar which would zap me whenever I refused an order. He also made me watch,  helplessly,  at my previous pokemon team as they were tortured endlessly.  I always knew what they were thinking.  They always told me not to worry about them and to stick to my morals but one day I knew they were at there limit.  They were in so much pain that they just wanted to end it all.
I looked at Giovanni as Lunala and the others cried in pain.  He was enjoying seeing me and them suffer.

(Please just kill us.  Please end this miserable life.)  I heard Lucario scream in agony.

I stood up and spoke in human for the first time since I received my memories back. 

 " FINE.  I'll do whatever you want just please stop." I felt a tear form in my eye.  I had finally given in to Giovanni, just as he wanted from the very start.  Giovanni grinned at me with piercing eyes. He tapped a button on his phone and the electricity flowing through the pokemon instantly stopped.

"That's better now,  isn't it? " He chuckled.
"Please... just take care of them." I sighed.
"Oh I will,  trust me.  They will be needed in my future plans for you. Okay,  now you are doing anything I say,  I want you to never talk unless I speak to you. I like you alot when you are quiet. "
I nodded my head slightly.
"You must always address me as 'Sir'. "
"Yes Sir."
"Oh and I just thought I'd let you know that Professor Oak and the others escaped a month or so back so it will be pretty hard for you to go back to a normal life since everyone is looking for you to be put in prison for all the crimes that you've committed."
My eyes widened in anxiety.  Oak had escaped so there's no doubt that everyone else is aware that I am still alive.  Those wretched humans. They have no purpose over than to cause me pain. I'll show them.  I'll show them what I've become and how insignificant they are to me. Argh they make me so angry.
I snapped out of my trance by hearing Giovanni chuckle to himself.
"You really do hate them don't you. Look,  if you join me on good terms then you'll get your revenge."
I thought about his proposal.  I had to do his bidding anyway so surely it would be better if I also could get something out of it.
"Okay Sir. "
"Excellent let's get started right away."

An hour later

Giovanni,  a Team Rocket troop and I stood in front a giant crowd of humans and their poor pokemon slave 'friends'. I told myself that I had to hurt the pokemon to save them so I wouldn't feel so guilty. I stood next to Giovanni in full form,  emotionless,  as he began his speech. 
"This world is corrupted and broken. Its disorganized messy.  I Giovanni plan on saving this world and its life.  To do that I need you to join my cause.  I need you to stand with me and save this planet.  I'm afraid to say that if you do not then we will still succeed but you on the other hand will be on the wrong side so do yourself a favour: join us today.  Team Rocket forever."
A whisper broke out in the crowd but nobody volunteered to join.  All of a sudden,  a man in the audience yelled out to Giovanni.
"OY!  We know who you are. You're the boss of that stupid team who keeps stealing our pokemon!  Why should we listen to you when you're just pitiful theifs?"
The crowd began to cheer and shout at all of us. Giovanni noticed a reporter and a cameraman at the far back of angry mob.
"Use your powers to make a commotion and make sure that camera sees you in action so that the world can see how much power I hold." He whispered in my ear.
"Yes sir." I replied.
I flew up using my newly leaned flying skills so that everyone could see me.  I took a deep breath and pushed everyone to the ground except the cameraman with the flick of my finger. They all screamed in pain.
I felt myself being sucked into the small room inside the masterball once more.  I knew why Giovanni did so.  He wanted to show that I was the most powerful being and that he had control over me. I gave a sigh of relief as I sensed the fresh air once more. 
"Now who will be joining me on my quest to the future today then?" Giovanni asked.
Nobody put their hand up or moved at all.
"As you wish. Meliodas, Kill them all."
I knew to save the pokemon I needed to make their death quick and painless.
"MAKE THEM ALL SUFFER." I felt my head tell me.
I told myself no but the thought kept coming over me. Finally the dark thoughts clouded my sense of judgment and I became fully emmersed in evil. All my feeling toward the humans and pokemon simply disappeared.  I had no bias towards either creature they just all needed to DIE. Stupid animals.  They should have been bowing down to me and my master. I began to light the ground underneath them all.
"That's enough Meliodas. I didn't actually expect you to go through with it just so soon." Giovanni called to me.
I looked around at Giovanni.  He wouldn't let me do what I really desired. I ignored him and continued. People and pokemon began dropping to the ground as the fire became too much for them.  I looked at my hands.  I was the one doing this.  It was so bad yet felt so good. I was tackled to the ground by a squad of Team Rocket members.
"MELIODAS! You need to learn to follow orders even when they contradict previous orders.
I replied with nothing but a blank stare.
