Chapter 10 - Lucario

I found myself on the ground. My back was killing me. I looked around.  Everyone was staring at me. I slowly got up trying not to hurt my back anymore. Meliodas was clutching Ritchie in terror. Ritchie was in shock and Sparkey had passed out. I looked over to where the others were. I expected them to be lead on the floor but instead they were stood also in shock staring at me. I breathed in and out to retain the pain i felt. " H...how?" I turned round to see Lysandere. "HOW ARE YOU NOT DEAD?" He demanded. I gave a shrug. He slammed his hand down on a red button but nothing happened. " Damn, im all out." He muttered. Anger. Anger was all i felt towards him. He was supposed to be my or rather Team Rockets ally. "Everyone Attack ! " He commanded. All the flare grunts jumped out of their cars and sent out their pokemon. There were about 30 of them. Each grunt had either a Gulbat or a Ratatatta and each of them gave diffrent commands. Without a thought i grabbed Lucario and sent him out. " Lucario ! Assist me in taking out these pathetic excuse of pokemon and pokemon owners. You take the pokemon I'll take the humans !" I shouted. (Yes Meli.) Lucario used Aurora bomb. All the pokemon were wiped out. "Just how much power does the captain's Lucario posess?" I heard Brock ask. I ignored him and attacked the grunts. I hit each of them in the stomach and they all fell to their knees. "Now go stupid grunts. Dont ever cross me again or you will be sorry!" I warned. They all scampered away into the distance. I stared at Lysandere. "N...now lets talk about this Mel...captain." He pleaded. "Lucario deal with this bafoon." I turned away to face the others. I knew what he was going to do. He was going to use another Aurora bomb and make Lysandre blast of into the sky like Jessie, James and Meowth used to do regulaly just to humiliate him. I turned back around and sure enough he was in the air on his way. " Now... how exactly did you not get hit by that flame?" I asked the group. Nobody answered for a few moments untill Dawn finally did. " He only aimed for you." She trembled. I could tell that they were all wondering how i survived but i myself had no idea. I was about to return Lucario but i was interupted. " Where did you get lucario?" Max asked.  I had to quickly make up a story. I decided to make the story so that it would fill them with guilt. " Well you see," I started. " I was in one of my cruise ships and i saw a lone pokeball on a seat. I looked all round for its owner but nobody claimed  it so i decided to open it up to ask the pokemon itself. I opened the pokeball and there lucario was. It turned out that his trainer had abandoned him because he could never win a league. They'd always get to the finals but never actually win. His trainer always blamed him for their loss. After that i took him in and we trained and thats it." I explained. " Wha... so you got that powerful from just normal training?" max inquired. I nodded and gave a shrug. " I'm going to get my back up together now and go."

I made it to the professors lab. the journey was torture even though it was only a few minute walk. The pain in my back was becoming fiercer and fiercer. I walked into the kitchen and Oak and Delia looked aas though they were having a private converstion so i left them to it. I went into my room and closed the door behind me. I began to feel extremely dizzy . I fell flat on my face with a very loud band. I couldn't see anything but i heard running up the stairs. My door opened then Delia and Oak ran in. They were gasping at something but i couldn't make out what. I just wished theyd help me as i was in immense pain. I felt Lucario's pokeball move around roll out from under me. " Oh god, what happened over there?" Oak asked. " Quickly Delia open the pokeball. He might have a pokemon which can help us lift him. I heard a click. (Meli? Meli? What happened?) "Just help them lucario." I mumbled. I felt myself being lifted up and carried down the stairs onto the kitchen table.  I heard rummaging in cuboards. " Oh no i only have pokemon burn heal not human. It will have to do." Oak said. I felt a cold soothing sensation on my back. "Give him this too." Oak added. I felt something sharp pierce my sholder. " He'll be out for a few days with that but hopefully he will be wont we in so much pain when he wakes up."  Oak told Delia. I paniced. "What if my face form changes or what if Giovanni thought i had betrayed him?" I grew drowzy and my worries faded.

DREAM

Fire was all around me. "DADDY I screamed. I frantically searched around the forest. Dead pokemon and humans were everywhere. I finally found the one i called Daddy. He was lead on the floor . I looked at him. He wasn't human. I grabbed and shook him. "WAKE UP!" I cried. 

END DREAM

I opened my eyes quickly. I was on my front on a bed. I tried to remember what my dream was but it hurt my head. All i knew was that it was extremly weird and scary. I shrugged it off. I needed to focus on the matter at hand. I tried to get up but i felt a pain in my back but it wasnt half as bad as before. I looked around. I was in the room i slept in at professor Oaks. The door opened slowly. I pretended to be asleep for some reason i was not sure of. I heard voices. " How well is he recovering.?"   "Quite well baring in mind i used pokemon medicine not human."    How long untill he wakes up?"         "Should be a few hours though i might give him another dose so his wound has healed more by the time he wakes up."       "Awww look at him he's so peaceful. He reminds me of ... Ash."         " Come on lets update the others on how he's doing. I still can't believe how he was able to survive that blast. I have it all on your CCTV footage."          "May i have a look?"       "Course Delia."      " That lucario is really strong though. So is the captain."             "Where is lucario at the moment?"          "He put himself back into the pokeball."         "Oh thats suprising. I would have thought he'd have stayed with his trainer."  I heard their footsteps leave the room and close the door behind them. I opened my eyes again and sat up quietly. I couldnt afford to be there any longer. Enduring the pain i put on my backpack and placed lucario on my belt.  I escaped out the window and ran as fast as i could. It reminded me of a year ago when ran from them the first time. 

Once i got to viridian forest i collapsed in pain but quickly got up again. I needed to get away. I grabbed my phone and rung Giovanni. "MELIODAS WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?  I HAVE BEEN SO WORRIED." He blared out the phone. " You could have just looked at my GPS you know on my phone." I facepalmed. "I thought you were taken by team flare or something so you wouldnt have your phone on you." He explained " Yeh whats up with that? Lysandere just went out and attacked me for no reason." I questioned. " I'll explain to you later. Im sending a Helicopter out to fetch you now. Should be 3 minutes." He said. " K thanks." I hung up. 

I waited for the helicopter and it eventaully came. It took me to The Rocket HQ in Alola where Giovanni told mw what had happened with Team Flare. Turned out they had a large disagreement so Lysandere took it out on me. I told Giovanni what happened to me and he was furious. He gave me strong pain killers and sent me to the doctors. He cared so much for me. Or so I thought.

Because i havent posted in forevas i did this chapter in just under 2:30 hours for you guys.
