Chapter 22 - Home again

 A few hours later at Team Rocket's Bas in Alola.(Ash POV)

I softly knocked onto the large wooden doors leading into Giovanni's office. 

"Come in." Giovanni ordered.

I walked through the doors beaming. Not only had I won the League of leagues but I had something for Giovanni which would hopefully make him proud or go towards repaying for all he had done for me.

"Oh hello Meliodas." He greeted.

"Hey G. I'm home." I replied.

I knelt in front of him and held out all the balls I had collected as gifts.

"I would like you to accept these as a token of my appreciation."

"Thank you Meliodas but.."

"I know you told me that i was not required to do my job but this is different. They also show that I have left my old life behind and am completely loyal to you alone."

"Okay as you wish" He sighed.

"Firstly I present you with..." I tapped the button on the first grey pokeball. Gary came tumbelling out. "Runner up to the league: Gary Oak."

Gary lead on the floor as if all life had been drained out of him. Giovanni simply nodded, not looking very impressed. I brought Gary back into the humanball and placed it beside Giovanni's work.

"Secondly I present you with Professor Oak. I believe him to be of some use for us as he is a professor afterall. Also we can force him to work for us using Gary Oak, his grandson." I sent out Oak. He was in the same condition as Gary. Giovanni began to perk up slightly. I returned Oak and placed his ball next to Gary's. "Thirdly I give you full custody of my previous partner: Pikachu." I showed him the pokeball with a small lightning bolt ingraved in it. "I wont take him out as I may not be able to get him back into the pokeball."

Giovanni smiled. He was obviously thinking about all the fun he would be able to have with Pikachu and by fun I mean torture. I placed the ball next to Oak's.

"Finally, the main event." I opened the final ball. Lusamine appeared dead on the floor. "To be honest I am really not sure as to why you havent tried to grab her before." I shrugged.

Giovanni's face dropped indisbelief. "Y...you got her. How? We have been trying for years with no luck."

"Quite an ironic story actually. She was forcefully trying to recruit me as a weapon against you and Team Rocket. It is what she gets and her dau..." I froze. " am so very sorry Giovnni. I let my feelings overcome me. I became to attached to this girl that my mission and my goals were completely taken from me. I had been so stupid that I almost got myself recruited into the main enemy team. Please Punish me as you see fit." I cried.

He burst out laughing. "Oh my boy. I'm not going to punish you. That is just human nature, You are growing up. Of course you are looking for the ladies. You are almost 15. May I ask this girls name?" He chuckled.

"Umm yeah, it's Lillie."

With that Lusmine jumped up and lunged towards me. I grabbed her arms and slammed her onto the ground. She groaned in pain and i returned her into the human ball.
