Chapter 7
“…The time were knights roamed in sinning armor, saving damsels in distress and what not. At that time Ireland was split in to 2 domains fighting for the upper hand. Queen Scarlet in the South, and King Rashen in the north. They had tried to work thing out but sadly they couldn’t agree on any thing and resorted to war.
“About 2 years into the war, Scarlet commissioned a group of scientists on a project: to create a person, like a ginger but, one that didn’t look like a ginger. One that had more capacity for souls and one that was more powerful. They were called Daywalkers. They were to bring more power to the south, and so they did, over throwing the north. But soon after that the daywalker had grown to powerful, and in fear of loosing she country to her own creation, the queen ordered all Daywalkers to be executed.
“But it seems that some got away. But you must under stand that hold much power, so we must be vary careful with you-“ I didn’t really under stand the last bit, I was to engrossed in his sexy Irish accent.
We reached the end of the hallway. “I hope you understand why I was ruff on you before.” He sounded like he wanted me to understand. His story was convincing enough, but I’m still not sure about the ginger/ Daywalker thing, it was still bullshit to me.
“That’s fine, I’m use to being handled roughly.” It was true, the orphanage wasn’t all hugs and kisses.
We walk down to a large gold elevator, I get in and he presses the 10th floor button. It doesn’t feel like we’re moving. I’m about to say something went it bings, announcing our arrival at the tenth floor. The doors open and-
HOLY CRAP!!!!!There’s a window and looking out all I see is skyscrapers, office buildings, and hotels, all brightly lit up, in the night.
“Where are we!?” I demand
Pace steps out of the elevator, “welcome to New York!”
