Jayden is 6 months old and I love that Michael has been here through it all. Him being here has made everything easier. A couple months ago once the doctor gave us the Okay, we did the DNA test to get Joes lawyer off our backs. Once he got his dna test he claimed it was wrong and claimed that we didn't actually do it. We had a judge and a lawyer there the whole time. They dismissed his case. We wouldn't even have to do the dna test. Jayden literally already looks just like Michael. The only one that looks like me is Harm.
"Do you have to go back to work?" I groaned getting on top of him as we laid in bed, ready to go to sleep. "Sadly but I won't be working as much. I'm going to try my hardest to slow down. Especially with us having to do this documentary next week. God I'm so stressed about it." He groaned I leaned down kissing him. He held my waist kissing me back until we heard a light knock on the door. We know that's Paiton, she always knocks , our kids just come right in. "Come in P." Michael said. She walked in rubbing her eyes crying. "What's wrong babygirl." I asked. She walked up to Michaels side of the bed. "I can't sleep, I had bad dream." She cried. Michael picked her up laying her between us. She clung onto Michael. "You want to tell me what happened?" He asked her. Her face got all serious, "Well there was this bigggg green scary monster chasing me down the hall, and he want to pick my boogers. Then I ran into the kitchen and the Cookie Monster was making cookies but they were bad cookies and he was a bad Cookie Monster." She said. Michael and I both smiled, giggling. "Well i promise you there's not monster trying to steal your boogers." He giggled. "I'm scared though." She cried. "You can stay with us tonight." He said. Michael has such a soft spot for her. "Does it ever like amaze you that we were told that i would never have kids and now we have 3 biological kids, 1 adopted and fostering another." I said. "This is definitely not how I pictured our life back then but I never imagined it'd be this great." He giggled. "Alright let's go to sleep." I yawned.
Paiton was out like a light. "Are we sending her to my moms during the documentary?" I asked. "Yeah she doesn't need to be exposed." He yawned. The next morning I woke up to cartoons and all the kids in our bed, all 5. I giggled as I woke up. "Oh." Michael was cooing to Jayden as Jayden mocked him. Jayden gave us a toothless smile warming our hearts. "He's a pretty good size for a premie baby." I yawned. " yeah the doctors said he's growing like a normal baby." Michael replied. Once Jayden saw me he was all smiles. "Good morning baby boy!" I gushed taking him. I laid him on the chest, cuddling him. "Paiton, you need to practice your ABC's." Michael yawned remembering she has a test today. "I know them! I practiced last night. Aubrey said i got them right!" She smiled. We looked to Aubrey. "She did." Aubrey said. "Okay let me hear it." I said. She recited her ABCs and got them right. "Good job!" Michael high five her. Even though P is only 4 we want to get her started on this stuff because eventually she will go back to Natalie and go to a terrible inner city school that isn't going to care about her education. And honestly P is so smart for her age, even our home school teacher said she's very smart for her age and would recommend us pushing her further. We even have her sitting in on harmonys classes and she even learning that stuff.
We all got up and i took the girls into the bathroom doing their hair. Paiton always gets so excited. She has to stare at herself for a good 10 minutes. She has definitely blossomed into a different happier child.
"Amber, Natalie is on the phone." Michael hollered. Ben brought me the phone and Paiton was in the bathroom with me still. I put her on speaker. "Hey." I said. "Hi momma!" Paiton squealed. "Hi babygirl! Are you doing okay?" Natalie asked. "Yeah momma! We gets to go to school today and I have a test on my ABCs and I know them!" She said. "That's awesome babygirl. You know momma misses you so much." She said sad. "I miss you too momma." She smiled still looking at herself. "She's busy admiring her own reflection right now." I giggled. "Is she doing okay? She's not too much trouble is she?" She asked. "No not at all. We love having her here. Ben loves spending time with her. She loves going to school with Harmony and playing with our dog Franky. She's so smart, we've put her is Accelerated classes." I told Natalie. "Amber you know I can't afford to put her in private school when I get out." She said sadly. "And we know that. We're just trying to at least give her a shot at loving school before she has to go back." I said. "Okay babygirl. Momma has to get off the phone. I got my lawyer to desecrate my time. I'll be out in 4 months." She said. "Love you momma." P shouted. "Love you too baby. Bye." She said hanging up. Paiton ran off to go have breakfast as I sat in the bathroom thinking. I'm not ready for Paiton to go back home. Tears started covering my cheeks, "babe- woo, what's wrong?" Michael asked. "I don't want Paiton to go back to Brooklyn." I cried. He sighed, sitting next to me. "This is why I knew it was a bad idea to take her. We both got attached to her." He said softly. "She's not even going to have a chance out there. She's so smart and their not even going to care." I cried. He hugged me as I cried. "Natalie gets out in 4 months." I sniffled. He kissed my forehead. "She has to go back to her mom baby." He said. "I know." I said drying my tears.
