Can I See Her?

Before the doctor spoke again i silently prayed to God that He and Levi were watching over Amber. God knows i cant do this on my own. I need her, shes the love of my life. If i lost her.... I wouldn't know how to go on with life. Tear were already in my eyes and as every ones else too.

" Well, what happened is when the baby started to move down, she was hitting a main blood vessel, once the baby was born the blood vessel opened up. We did our best to stop the bleeding..... And we did." the sighed.

" So is she okay?" i asked

" We dont know if we caught it in time....she lost a lot if blood....we got her heart started,we did a blood transfusion and she on oxygen. We dont know if theres any permanent damage or not. She could suffer brain damage,nerve damage, and memory loss. We'll just have to see when and if she wakes up..." the doctor finished. Tears flooded my face more once he said ' if she wakes up

I took a deep breath, " Can i see her?" i asked chocking back tears.

" Yeah, we moved her to room 220." we followed the doctor there. They let me take Harmony in there with me. We all slowly walked to find room 220. I didnt know if i wanted to go in that room. I felt like a piece of me was slowly slipping away each step i took. I had to stay strong for my now 3 children. Aubrey and Ben was getting tired, and Harmony was getting a little fussy.

We all entered the room in silence, Amber's mom Courtney was already crying.

" my poor baby!" she cried. I was taking deep breaths holding back my tears. My mother came up to me taking Harmony. I walked slowly up to her bed. I watched her chest slowly raise and fall. I sat next to her bed. I grabbed her hand kissing it. Both Aubrey and Ben came up to the bed peaking over to see Amber.

" mommy, wake up...." Aubrey shook Ambers arm.

" Wakey Wakey eggs and bakey mommy." Aubrey said again.

She turned to me confused, " daddy, why isn't mommy waking up?" she asked.

" Can you guys give us a few minutes alone?" i asked everyone.

" Mike were going to head out. Its getting late, the kids are getting fussy."

" Alright." i replied.

" Bye Uncle Mikey!" Both Ally and Landon said hugging me.

Jennifer embraced me," Shes gonna be okay. If you need anything just call. Okay?" I nodded.

" See yah later man. Im sorry youre going through this." he said.

Mother waited outside because she was going to stay at Neverland with the kids.

" daddy whats going on?" Ben asked with a scared expression.

" Why isn't mommy waking up, is she going where my other daddy went?" Ben asked. That broke.my.heart. I really think even though Ben was young the death of Levi did scar him. I just stared blankly, i didnt know how to respond.

" Daddy, i dont wanna lose mommy." he cried. " I dont want mommy to go where daddy is." he cried. I picked him up, holding him close. I did my best to hold back my tears but it was pointless. Aubrey looked confused.

I calmed down Ben, and sat them both on my lap.

" Guys after mommy had baby Harmony, she started to bleed badly. Mommy lost alot of blood. Shes having a little trouble right now. She cant breath on her own right now. The doctors are doing their best to help her." I explained to them.

" Harmony hurt mommy?" Aubrey asked.

" no no baby, Harmony didnt do it. Mommy just had some problems. Its no ones fault." i told her.
