Let the con Begin

" This was an awful idea. "

" No, no. This is good. "

" Sighhhh. " Zane whines to his boyfriend. He had just finished putting on his cosplay Travis had gotten for him and wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not. He was currently cosplaying Keith from Voltron. Travis was so very proud with himself for introducing the idea and was so happy that Zane sorta kind of agreed.

Smiling to himself, Travis wraps his arms around Zane's waist and hugs him from behind.

" You look like a space gay. " This comment causes both males to laugh.

" Yeah, yeah. Hey are you going as Lance? "

" I will need a wig, but yes. " Travis smiles brightly making Zane smile lightly.

Zane's POV~~

About 15 minutes later, Travis leaves the bathroom in a full Lance cosplay.

" How do I look? " He does and awkward post where he leans back. The space between his thumb and index finger rest against his chin, his smile/smirk stands out from the blue armor.

" You look like a space gay. " I chuckle turning his smirk into a regular smile.

" That's good, wouldn't want to look too straight. " We both laugh and make our way out of the room towards the others.

" Wow! " Aphmau giggles from a few feet away. " You guys look amazing! "

" Why thank you. " Travis smirks again making me smile again.

" Mmmm. " Katelyn hums impatiently. " Can we leave now? I want to go to the con! " I look around, realizing we don't exactly have everyone. Garroth and Laurance are missing. They must be at their Pokémon or whatever thingy.

You know, maybe I'll do something like enter the costume contest. I mean, I have a costume.

" Hey, " I feel Travis nudge my arm. Looking up, his vibrant green eyes meet my icy blue ones. " They already started walking, want to go? " I nod, and we start walking to leave the hotel.

As walk away from the hotel, I turn to Travis. " Hey.. uh. " I nervously scratch my wrist. Before saying anything, Travis calmly reaches over and holds my right hand, causing me to stop scratching it.

" Yes? " He looks back ahead of us as we walk hand-in-hand. I blush slightly, taking a deep breath.

" W-want to enter the costume contest with me? "Travis pulls my hand slightly so we are basically touching. He looks down at me and smiles brightly.

" Sure Zaney. " I nod, biting my lip.

Turning back ahead of us, I notice we are almost at the con. " Alright guys, lets meet here at noon. " Aaron announces as walk to the entrance of the con. Hmm I suppose meeting at noon would be efficient so we can all eat lunch together.

Travis looks over to me. " Mind If I stick with you? " I shake my head smiling.

Travis' POV~~

The moment we step into the con, everyone splits up into smaller groups. I can see why Aaron wanted to meet up eventually, there's a lot of people here.

When Zane and I came here yesterday, I saw there was going to be a Voltron meet- up today. that means all the Voltron cosplayers will meet up and take pictures and stuff. Hopefully since there's a lot of people, plenty will be Voltron people. It'll be great either way. I hope Zane wants to go.

" Hey Zane I- " I stop walking realizing that he wasn't paying attention.

" Hmm? " He mutters, staring at a sign on a post nearby. It's the costume contest flier stating that you can sign up in the commons. Knowing we are already in the common, I look around for said booth. Spotting it, I smile.

" Zane, it's over there. " I point and his eyes light up. Wow, he's so cute.

After a few minutes of waiting and filling out papers, we had officially signed up. Just in time too!

" Zane, want to go to the Voltron meet up? "

" Hmm yeah, okay. "

Narrator's POV~~

After getting pictures, merchandise, and walking around the con three times, it became close to noon. Deciding they had enough fun for today, the two males agree that after lunch, they will go back to the hotel. The contest wasn't until tomorrow so leaving early today wasn't a problem.

Zane and Travis walk to the entrance where they spot Garroth, Laurance, Dante, Aphmau, and Aaron waiting by a sidewalk. Walking over, Aphmau smiles brightly. " Yay! Two more have arrived! "

" Were you two walking around together the entire time? " Laurance questions raising an eyebrow.

" Yup! " Travis smiles and grabs Zane's hand making Dante confused.

" Are you tw- "

" Lunch time! " Nicole giggles, walking up to everyone.

" Yeah, let's get some food! " Katelyn smiles hungrily as the others walk up.

" ...Uh want to go to Blaster's Pizza? " Aaron shrugs.

" YES! " Laurance adds excitedly.

" Alrighty It's settled then! " Aphmau smiles.

" Let's goooo! " Travis chants as the group starts walking.

Once in the pizza place, the group orders and waits for the arrival of food.

" Anyone sign up for the costume contest? " Kawaii~Chan asks the table, taking a drink of her soda.

" Nicole and I did. " Katelyn smiles proudly.

" Zane and I too. " Travis looks over at Zane, who smiles.

" So what is it with you two? " Katelyn smirks at the two males.

" Katelyn, I don't think that's a question that you should ask. "

" No, it's chill Aph. " Travis smriks. " Besides, wouldn't want to keep mine and Zane's relationship a secret now would we? "

" WHAT?! "
