Chapter 19 - Gone

Elena's P.O.V.

Two weeks had passed and Stefan was being nice to me, to Damon and most of all, to Hannah. I liked him, but there was something about him that made me ask myself a lot of questions. Damon had told me that there was something between us in the past but nothing serious. That was everything I knew, nothing more. 

But why does he seem so familiar?

Maybe it's because we used to be close, I guess. But when I saw him, I knew I had seen him somewhere.. I felt like I saw him after I lost my memories. [A/N: If some of you guessed where she saw him, great for you! But if you didn't, then read the ending of Chapter 15!] 

"Elena! I'm going to take Hannah for a walk! Stefan's downstairs if you need anything!" Damon informed me and I nodded. Soon I heard the door open and close, and then everything was silent. I decided to go downstairs but first I had to put on some clothes since Damon and I got a little too wild yesterday. I chose a pair of blue shorts and a flowy white top. It was really hot today even though it was the beginning of October. I went downstairs and picked up a glass of blood that Damon had left for me. I gulped it in a matter of seconds and then I threw myself on the couch. Stefan wasn't here but I used my vampire-hearing, he was in basement. But why? I was always curious, so I carefully walked downstairs. I had never been to the basement, I didn't have a reason to go there. 

"Stefan?" I whispered. I didn't know why I was scared but something about this place sent shivers down my spine. Not the good kind though, the scary ones. "Are you here?" I whispered a little louder. I used my vampire-hearing again. I could only hear breathing. Slow breathing. I walked down the dark underground hallway, the only light being small lanterns on the walls. There were a couple of doors on my right but the breathing didn't come from there. "S-Stefan?" Again, there was silence. I got closer to the small sound of breathing. It was coming from the end of the hallway. I slowly started opening the door, my heart beating ten times faster than normal. I was too scared to look but I had to. 

The look in front of me was terrifying. Stefan was tied to some pipes. He was unconscious, there was blood everywhere. "Stefan!" I quickly ran to him and kneeled down, trying to untie his wrists. But the ropes burned me. I cursed under my breath. Someone had soaked them in vervain. Poor Stefan, god knows how painful it was for him. "Wake up!" I shook his shoulder and his breathing got faster. He opened his eyes, they were tired and weak. "What happened?" 

"Elijah.. He's back."

"Who's Elijah?" 

"Give me some blood." He completely ignored my question. I nodded and sprinted upstairs with vampire-speed, I grabbed some bloodbags from the fridge and then I went back to Stefan. He drank all of them fast and then he had the Power to get out of the ropes. He stood up and shook his head. "Let's go upstairs." He said and we walked to the living room. He sat on the couch and I sat across him. 

"Elijah is one of the Originals, he's the nicest but something's telling me he's after us." The Originals. I remembered Damon telling me things about them. Klaus and Kol were nice to us but the others.. I don't really know. "He came here a few minutes ago and we had a fight."

"But what does he want?" Stefan didn't say anything, indicating that it was something bad. "Stefan? What does he want?" I asked with an angrier tone. 

"He wants Hannah.." My mouth dropped. 

"What?! Why?!" I stood up and nervously paced around the room. 

"I don't know yet. I tried getting it out of him but he wouldn't tell me."

"I've gotta call Damon." Stefan simply nodded and I sprinted upstairs, to get my phone. I had 11 missed calls from Damon and 5 from Aria. I dialed his number and he immediately picked up. 

"Where are you?" 

"He..He took her.. He took Hannah."

After he said those words my heart dropped. Why? Where is she? Is she okay? Of course she's not, someone took my baby. 

A/N: There you go! This wasn't planned but I just decided to write something. I know it's really short but I promise the next chapters will be longer and there will be more excitement! Love you all <3
