Elena's P.O.V.
"Good morning, beautiful." Damon kissed my cheek.
"Good morning, sexy." He smirked and I turned around so we were face to face.
"What shall I make for breakfast?"
"Hmm.. Pizza!"
"Pizza? For breakfast?"
"Yeah! Now go make me pizza!" I said in a baby voice and he got up.
I laid in bed for a while more but Damon called me from downstairs.
"Elena, we have a visitor!"
I got out of bed and put on my robe, then I went downstairs. At the door was standing a very familiar person. He looked like...like... "Stefan." I recognized him from the pictures Damon had shown me. "It's nice to finally meet you." I held out my hand for him to shake. He hasitated a little but then she shook it.
"It's nice to meet you too."
"So you're Damon's brother."
"Yes, I am. And you're his girlfriend."
"Yes, I am. Why did you leave?" I asked as we walked to the living room.
"Many reasons."
"Stefan, can we talk alone for a second?"
"Of course." Stefan said, but I knew he didn't want to talk to Damon alone.
Damon's P.O.V.
"Why are you back?" I asked.
"I am going to change. I promise. I will get over her."
"You will or you are?"
"Look, I'm trying the best I can."
"Are you lying to me, brother?"
"No. I would never lie to you."
"Okay, I choose to trust you. But if you do anything, anything bad, I will kill you with my own hands. Understood?"
"Understood."
We walked back to the living room and I sat next to Elena, Stefan sat across us.
"Hey, do you want to meet Hannah?" Bad decision Elena, bad decision.
"Of course!" He smiled and Elena got up to get her. A minute later, they came back. Elena carefully put Hannah in Stefan's arms.
"Meet your niece, Hannah." Elena said.
"Hello there, little Hannah. It's a pleasure to finally meet you." He said to her. I could see it in his eyes, he cared for her and he would never let her get hurt. She smiled at him and put her small hand on his face. His eyes were filled with tears. At that moment, I knew that the old, caring and loving Stefan was back. He would never do any harm on my family. And I decided to trust him and forgive him.
"Stefan, if you want, you can stay here. Your room is the way you left it."
"Thank you, brother."
We spent the rest of the day talking, laughing and Elena had grown to like Stefan. I noticed that the way he looked at her had changed, it was love but a different kind.
