New Years Day was one of the worst days of Mendel's life. Why? Well, it was the day Whizzer watched and discovered Titanic."H-He was so young! And handsome," Whizzer wailed into Marvin's shirt as the end credits rolled. Marvin sighed, rubbing Whizzers back for comfort. He had never seen Whizzer so distraught.
"I know," Whizzer looked up at Marvin's eyes he went from crying to joyous.
"Whey, whey, whey! Are you jealous? Of Leonardo DiCaprio?" Whizzer pinched Marvin's cheeks causing him to blush bright red.
"No!" Marvin mumbled, "I'm way hotter than him!" Whizzer burst out sob-laughing.
"Babe!" He cried, you're jealous of Leonardo DiCaprio?" Whizzers eyes were bright red and watery. He was laughing his head off.
"N-No!" Marvin whined, "I-I'm not!" Whizzer couldn't stop laughing. His face hurt. He looked up at the doorway past the TV where Mendel was standing. He was staring at the two, shaking his head.
"I don't even want to know," he grabbed a handful of popcorn that was sitting on the couch in a bowl. "Seven more hours until the new years, and you guys are over here watching-" Mendel squinted he didn't have his glasses with him. You could tell how much strain he was putting on his eyes. "Titans?" Marvin snorted. "Oh, Titanic?" Mendel waved his hand in the air, "sorry I don't have time for that hopeless romantic stuff!"
"Hm," Whizzer stood up, "You're just jealous that Jack got a girlfriend and you don't!" Whizzer stuck out his tongue like the immature child he was.
"Hey! Trina and I are uh- we're-friends-who-like-to-go-out-in-a-kind-romantic-way!" Mendel looked less joyful when he started the conversation.
"Huh," Whizzer winked, "It's the new year, anything could happen,"

"I hate you!" Mendel screamed throwing his shoe at Whizzers head. Whizzer laughed dodging the horribly thrown slipper. Whizzer picked up the slipper waving it around like a wand.
"Honey. I've been dodging trash all my life, you're going to have to get a better aim then that!"
"At least his aim is getting better," Marvin snorted from the living room couch where he was trying to catch up on his latest book series. Marvin looked up to see both men staring quietly at him. "What?! Gravity Falls was an AMAZING show!"
Mendel went back to throwing his shoes at Whizzer. And he had a lot of shoes.
"Why would you invite Trina over? For NEW YEARS!? I can't deal with this stress tonight! I was going to be in my pajamas covering in crumbs watching the ball drop! But noooo!" Mendel was shaking his other slipper above his head.
"Ha!!" Whizzer laughed throwing a handful of popcorn at Marvin who put his book down and happily at the popcorn out of his hair.
Yes. Tonight was going to be awesome!
