"I got linguine!!!" Marvin announced when he finally urged Trina to visit Whizzer in the hospital. Jason brought his chess game and had set it up at the side of the bed. Whizzer was still, played terrible but Jason had lowered his standers even more. He was letting Whizzer win in the first five minuets they started to play. Whizzer giggled when Marvin ran into the small hospital room. Marvin cradled the air tight package of leftover linguine from the other night. He smiled placing it on the little table next to Whizzers hospital bed. For later.

"Your fathers a crazy one," Whizzer whispered to Jason who nodded his head in agreement. Trina who refused to go into the hospital room, laughed from outside the door. Whizzer tilted his head to see her.

"I'll say," she announced from the doorway, Jason rolled his eyes at his mother and continued the game with Whizzer. Whizzer beamed, moving a piece across the board. If that's how it worked. He really didn't know. Marvin sat excitedly bouncing in the chair at the end of the bed. Whizzer sat up slowly, turning to Marvin.

"Yes?" Whizzer smiled looking over at his hypoallergenic boyfriend, he turned to Jason. "Did you let him eat from my chocolate stash again? I told you he gets a sugar crash when he does that," Marvin was bouncing up and down, shaking his head. Whenever Marvin ate chocolate he would act very sugared up and then just crash.

"No no no no no nooo," Marvin laughed as Whizzer shook his head.

"Jason, please watch your father tonight, I'm afraid he's lost it again," Whizzer sighed heavily. Jason laughed, and stood up. He moved one last piece on the game board and then walked over to Whizzer. He wrapped his arms around Whizzer and hugged him goodnight.

"G'night Whizzer, see you tomorrow!" Jason waved goodbye as Trina ushered him out of the hospital room. Marvin was still bouncing, Whizzer scooted over and shook his head. He patted the empty space to his left.

"You have to stop eating so much junk food," Whizzer muttered while Marvin cuddled up to the space next to him. "If you keep acting like the crazy one in this relationship I'd have to be more serious," Whizzer brushed back Marvin's messy hair. He seemed to take care of it less when Whizzer wasn't around pestering him to.

"S-Soorryy!" Marvin slurred, "I should go," Marvin sat up. He shivered and looked back down at Whizzer who was giving him a questionable gaze. "I have work tomorrow,"

"You can't drive in the state you're in, ask Charlotte for a drive," Whizzer begged, and Marvin agreed. "We don't need another accident." Marvin froze, how could he joke about something like that? It must have been Whizzers nature, he'd go through the shock and then he'd tell a joke.

"Love you," Marvin blew him a kiss, grabbing his coat and restarting the chess game so Jason could start automatically when he came tomorrow.

"Love you," Whizzer whispered back. "You sure you can't stay for the night? The doctors said you could, I asked," Whizzer pouted, "What if I died tonight? Huh? You'd want to be sitting in that chair for my last few moments right?" Marvin stopped walking towards the door. He stopped breathing.

"Never say that again," Marvin's voice wavered as he took a sharp inhale of breath. He was still shaking, probably from the sugar. "Ever, you are not dying Whizzer Brown, even if I have to drag you from crawling into the grave myself,"

"O-Okay," Whizzer smiled at his all too serious BF. "I'm sorry you're right I shouldn't speak like t-that," Whizzer felt bad about shaming Marvin to stay with him. Which in the end he slept on the chair next to his bed and woke up early leaving him a letter next to his bed, as he was going to be late for work.

When Whizzer woke up, he grabbed the letter happily hoping for some Shakespeare-worth words.

"Whizzer : I had to leave for work, as you may tell I am not with you.

I love you get some sleep, and be ready for Jason's visit later he told me to tell you he has a big surprise.

If you need anything tell Charlotte to call me. You're looking pretty good today.

The doctors say in a week or two you can go home. You're going home.

xxMarvin "

Whizzer smiled, laying back down and closing his eyes. For the first time in days, he felt happy, and painless. Or maybe it was some sort of pain medication that Charlotte had given him. He smiled thinking about Marvin coming in later with Jason to play a game of chess. He was going to be ok. And he could go home soon.

Now if only he could get out of this hospital faster...
