"Dad!" Jason screamed when Trina dropped him off at the hospital. Jason never cane out and ever said that Marvin was his father. Here he was in the middle of the hospital running up to his father in worry of Whizzer. "When can we see him?" Jason muttered hugging his father. Jason had come to see him, to see Whizzer.
"We don't know," Marvin answered truthfully. He smiled looking down at his son who was nervously looking around. He had forgotten about Jason's little fear of hospitals. He had an anxiety problem with the whole situation, people dying and people living all by random. It scared him to death, he had broken down when Trina's father had died and Jason insisted he couldn't stay in the hospital for more then twenty minuets at a time. "He's in surgery and after that we can see him," Marvin ruffled Jason's hair noticing that Trina was no where to be seen.
"O-Okay," Jason sighed, he pulled a chess piece out of his pocket, the one that Whizzer always picked first. The king. "I brought him this, to make him feel better," Jason smiled. From the corner of his eye he saw Dr.Charlotte walking closer to them. Marvin turned and she smiled wide.
"The surgery's done, he can have visitors," Charlotte smiled, looking down at Jason, "Hello sweetie," she smiled down at him. Jason nodded a hello and Charlotte showed the two boys to Whizzers room. Marvin's hands started to clam up and he had to wipe them on his jeans. He smiled looking down at his hands, knowing what Whizzer would say to him.
"This is why you need to carry around a handkerchief, Marvin!"
Marvin smiled, and watched as Jason walking into the cold room. He burst into laughter. He could hear Jason smiling and telling jokes to Whizzer. Marvin waited until Jason left the room to go in, by himself. He asked Dr.Charlotte if he could speak with Whizzer alone. She said absolutely.
"W-Whizzer!" Marvin walked in, noticing all the tubes and machines that were surrounding him. Whizzers lips looked pale, like his skin. The whiteness of his usually bright skin worried Marvin. Whizzer looked a bit dazed, he cracked a smile struggling to sit up. Marvin rushed to the side of the bed.
"Don't move," Marvin whispered, smiling as he ran his hand through Whizzers hair, just like always it was so soft. Even ill his hair was naturally soft. Whizzers lips quivered as Marvin sat down at the side of the bed. "How are y-"
"I don't want to die," Whizzer blurt, tears forming around his colorful eyes. "I don't want to die," he repeated waiting for a responds from his boyfriend. Marvin laughed coldly, staring Whizzer straight in the eye.
"You're not going to die, and leave me to be stuck with my EX? No way," Marvin joked, he heard Whizzer laugh, and looked up in surprise. "It was just a simple accident, you can stay in the hospital, and get better, and then you'll come home and pester me about how I wear my ties alright?" Marvin smiled brightly.
"You wear it all wrong," Whizzer shook his head smiling, "and your shoes don't forget your shoes," Whizzer beamed, "without me you wouldn't be able to match anything, how did you survive without me?" Marvin winced remembering the harsh words he had spat at Whizzer days ago. Was it really only days ago they had fought? It felt like so long ago.
"I wouldn't," Marvin bit his lip looking down at his hands, he let them fall on the hospital blanket that was wrapped around Whizzers small frame. Whizzers breaths came out in small gasps. He was shaking slightly and he looked down at Marvin's delicate state. "No-!" Marvin startled Whizzer, "Don't cry we can't both be crying!" Marvin bit back tears that were threatening to spill down he sides of his face.
"I'm scared," Whizzer whispered, "are you scared?" he ignored Marvin's begs of him to stop crying. He cried anyways.
"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I was scared?" Marvin and Whizzers hands found each other, and Marvin smiled.
Voice breaking, Marvin spoke what he hoped sounded like a brave sentence.
"L-Let's be scared together,"
