How many starts existed? In the entire universe? Whizzer was sitting on the trunk of the van, glaring up at the stars that had come out. They all looked so distant, and lost. Whizzer attempted to count all of them. It was kind of draining, honestly. Marvin was sitting from a tent that he had put up, yes Marvin was sleeping on the ground. Whizzer found him insane.

"Hon, you want to sleep in the tent? Or you want to stay on the roof?" Marvin teased, Whizzer glared at him, losing his counting. Now he had to start over. Again. He ignored Marvin, until he had walked over to him sighing. "Whiz, I'm sorry, I don't want you to be mad at me. Are you mad?" Marvin mumbled, climbing next to Whizzer on the roof. Whizzer stayed silent.

Whizzer reached over to brush Marvin's frizzy hair back. He frowned.

"Now why do you like it outside? Without your gel you look like a lion,"

"Majestic?" Marvin smiled, the first thing that Whizzer had said in hours. Whizzer giggled, shaking his head. The quietness between them was kind of unsettling. They stood their staring at the stars.

"Insane," Whizzer mumbled after a few minuets. "Very insane,"

"Like my boyfriend," Whizzer blushed, shoving Marvin playfully. There was an owl howling in the distance. Whizzer jumped, as the owls howling grew louder. Marvin laughed, reaching down to hug his boyfriend.

"Silly boys," Mendel snorted from where he was walking up to them. "It's past your bedtimes'," Mendel teased, like the mother figure he felt like he needed to be. Whizzer groaned, rolling his eyes and looking back at Marvin.

"I think mommy's mad at me," Whizzer pouted. Mendel felt a huge surge of joy as he noticed Whizzer and Marvin were acting normal. Back to their usual joking selves. Lately, they had been... distant. Marvin laughed. He reached for Whizzers hand turning back to look up at the stars.

"Five more minuets then to bed, you two," Mendel glared at Marvin and Whizzer who were innocently nodding their heads.

"Night, Mendel," Whizzer waved, Mendel shook his head.

"Five," he whispered, going back to the little tent. Jason must have been asleep, because the only noise that could be heard was the sound of the two men's heartbeats. A shooting star passed over their heads. Whizzer made a wish looking at Marvin who was nodding off.

"Nighty night," Whizzer reached up to kiss Marvin on the forehead, finally giving up and heading to the tent. Somethings just didn't seem worth fighting for. Some people on the other hand... Whizzer took one last look at his boyfriend. He hopped back onto the car leaning on Marvin's chest.

Well, they were completely worth fighting for.
