So. I guess I do like Cyrus. But that doesn't mean I'm gay. It just means that I'm not straight. It was a Saturday morning and I pulled out my phone. I need to talk to someone about this. I need to know how Cyrus feels about me. I need to do something about Andi. There were only a few people that I knew I could talk to about this. Andi, Cyrus, Amber, and Buffy. I obviously can't talk to Cyrus or Andi. I should tell Cyrus that I'm bisexual. I think I'm bisexual.

Well, Amber and I tell each other everything. I can't tell her that I like a boy, though, can I? She'd probably laugh or something.

I guess I could talk to Buffy. She already knows that there's something wrong with me. And Cyrus is her best friend so she may know his feelings toward me. But, I think she hates me.

I could just tell them at the same time. But Buffy hates Amber. I'll just have to get them to like each other.

I told Buffy to meet me at The Spoon at 2 and I told Amber to take her break at 2. I sat in a booth and rubbed my hands together. I stared at them, picking at the skin around my nails. I kept itching one spot on my head and checking the time. It was 1:58. The bell chimed on the door. It was Buffy. She sat across from me and crossed her arms.

"So?" She asked.

A waiter came and out a basket of baby taters on the table. She took one. 1:59. I looked up at her and cleared my throat. "I have something to tell you," I said.

"What is it?" She asked, taking her hands off of the baby taters and focusing on my face.

"Well, I'm waiting for someone else to meet us, too," I told her. 28 seconds.

"Who?"

"You'll see."

We sat in silence, her sighing and eating the baby taters while glancing at the door occasionally. Amber came walking over, 48 seconds after 2, still wearing her uniform. Buffy rolled her eyes and looked down at the table, not realizing that she should let Amber sit down. Amber cleared her throat, catching Buffy's attention, and motioned for her to scoot down. Buffy snapped her head at me, her mouth dropped open.

"Are you serious?" She yelled. "Her?"

"Listen. I need to tell you both something and decided to just tell you guys at the same time. Like killing two birds with one stone. And I need your help." I said.

Buffy kept a stern face on. "What's in it for me?" She asked.

"Trust me," I said. "I think you both will be on board."

I sat in the booth with the two girls in front of me. I watched coming out videos before, but I never thought I'd be actually doing one. I searched for the right words to say.

"So, you know how Andi and I are like, dating?" I asked, looking back and forth from the two girls.

They rolled their eyes and both muttered, "Yeah."

"Well, I think I like someone else," I said.

Buffy looked confused and Amber looked overjoyed. "Who?" Buffy asked.

I looked down at my hands and took a breath. "Cyrus," I whispered. It was silent and when I looked up, they both had their mouths dropped open.

"Are you gay?" Amber asked.

I shook my head.

"Then what are you?" Buffy asked.

I shrugged.

Buffy leaned forward and rested her chin on her hand. "Huh," she sighed.

We sat there eating baby taters and drinking milkshakes, just talking. It was fun. We sat for an hour, until Amber was discovered and had to go back to work. We talked about whether or not I was bisexual, I am, and about what I should Andi and Cyrus. Buffy and I were going to explain the situation to to Andi the next day, and on Monday, I was going to talk to Cyrus. Buffy and I were walking home and I was stressing about how I how going to talk to him.

"I can't just go over and talk to him!" I yelled.

"Yes you can! You do it all of the time!" She responded.

"But now I'm trying to like...ask him out," I whispered. "I don't even know if he likes me."

Buffy stopped walking and bent over laughing. "You don't know if he likes you?" She snorted. "Obviously he does! You are so oblivious!"

I took a step back. It explained so much. Cyrus Goodman likes me.

"Seriously," Buffy said, putting her hand on my shoulder and looking deep in my eyes. "Just talk to him."

I nodded. I'm doing this. I'm asking Cyrus Goodman out.
