Crash! Eric jumps out of bed and sees his destroyed TV on the ground. He gets up and walks over to his tv in the dim light of the light bulb. It sat there hanging in the middle of the room and the only way to turn off the bulb was to wait till the light burned out. Luckily the bulb was flickering, but it was still early and dark.

Eric looks down at his tv and picks up a piece of glass from the TV. It's all mushed and it is sparking every few seconds. He turns around and grabs a small microchip from his bedside table. He looks awkwardly at it, "Medicine," he read from the side. He takes it right off the table and did something peculiar. He put the chip into the side of his leg and went toward his bed.

Unable to go to sleep Eric goes out the door to his bedroom and finds himself in a small, not very well made, kitchen. He tiptoes around the makeshift counter and opens a cardboard cabinet. He takes out the chip and puts it in a glass case that was in the cabinet. Eric walks back to his room (that's really just a closet) and falls right asleep.

Eric wakes up without remembering his dream. He loved dreams, he would have them, then pray for them to happen for real. Even nightmares were fun for Eric because he thought it taught him life lessons. One dream was his favorite...

Eric would wake up in a huge ravine full of lava. The walls had crumbled like cookie crumbs. The lava, even in the dream, felt extremely hot. But that's not all that was in the dream, he saw it, the choice. On his left it was the girl he had a crush on. He liked her since the first day of school till he got kicked out of school. She was in a cage surrounded by lava.

To Eric's right he saw a pile of one hundred dollar bills. It probably weighs at least fifty pounds. Then Eric realized that he only gets to choose one. In the end of the first time he had the dream he got the money and lived a wealthy life. The next time he had the dream he saved the girl he liked and they lived happily ever after.

Eric realized something, he had to have another good dream. He tried everything he could to have another good dream. He spent all his money on an ipad so he could look up how to control dreams. He also bought internet. Every night he would look up new ways to control dreams and he had found a plan that would work.

Right before Eric would go to bed he would draw a weird creature on the outside of his hand. It seemed to work at first, he would see the mark in the dream and control it to his liking. One dream he was walking through a forest and behind him the forest was changing. He had to run as fast as he could but it was faster. Suddenly he woke up gasping for air.

The next dream it went more nicely. Eric just normally woke up but there was a little girl in the makeshift kitchen. "Who are you?" asked Eric surprised "Your sister, silly!" she replied. Crash! Eric ran to his room to find his broken tv. Eric then wakes up.

Eric looks down at where his broken tv had been. He knew he put it in the trash and he was right. It wasn't there, well where it used to be. Eric steps out of his bed and goes into the kitchen. But wait! The girl is still in there at the stove over the tiny fireplace. Eric trips as he walks into the room. He gets up speaking in pain "Who are you!" The girl oddly replies "Your sister, silly!"

Eric moves slightly to the left of the doorway and hears a crash from behind him. He turns around and a gasp comes from his bedroom. His "sister" says the same thing again toward the doorway. Eric looks down at the bottom of the doorway and sees footsteps appearing in front of him! He is in his dream!

Eric jumps out of his bed and runs to the kitchen. Finally he is out of his dream. He goes outside and looks down the darkly lit street. The lamp posts were mostly burned out and he could only hear the flickering of the one lamp near his house. He was the person who replaced the bulb to it. It was facing the wrong direction and he had the remote to turn it off. The bulb was so close to his bedroom window it looked like a moth near a light.
