The First One

James - Wakes Up

James sat still as he looked at D. She was on the blood stained cell floor with a bullet in her head. James saw Eric's body on the ground still and his mom was behind him. "So you really killed her?," asked Maddie grabbing James's shirt. "You still have two more challenges," continued Maddie. James quickly jumped up and cracked his knuckles. A loud pop came from his hand. Maddie was waiting to see what he could do. "Mojink Fingre," James stopped, "I can't bring them both back." Maddie shook her head and picked up D's bag. James turned, changed into a monster, and jumped at Maddie. She quickly grabbed his claw, twisted it, cut it with a knife, and shot James with a molecule changer. James was in human form now because of Maddie. James laid on the ground holding his missing hand. "You cut my hand off..." James stood up. He slowly walked at Maddie. "You can't change what I can do," said Maddie pulling out a gun. James laughed and started to turn. His veins started to pop out of his skin. His hand grew back as a metal claw. James formed a shield out of fire with his metal hand and put it in his other. Maddie shot a bullet but it was blocked by the shield. It deflected directly into Maddie's leg.

James took one step and the whole room caught fire. He grabbed Maddie and threw her into the fire. "If you kill me now, I'll be able to take away your black magic!," screamed Maddie burning. "Mudhce askvnea neovdn," chanted James. The fire grew and shaped a circle around Maddie. James' veins caught on fire. They all turned red. He ran out of the room and followed the hall down to the door out. James ran outside and found himself in a small Hobo camp in a mall. "And now you know the truth," said a random voice from behind him.

"What?," asked James.

"You see now that because of those kids, you have learned what the right thing to do is."

"I killed everyone."

"Not Rari, Matt, Taylor, Jeffy, or that giant that you created."

"Drew?"

"Yes."

"I just want my powers to go away, I hate it. It may help when I'm being attacked, but I killed Danny."

"D, yes she is very special, but yet you killed her. Why?"

"I can't bring her back because she is technically still alive."

"How!"

"I shot her in the head, but not our baby."

"BABY!"

"Oh, you don't even know one of our kids."

"You have kids?"

"Yup, four actually, I'll list them."

"Who!"

"Violet,1 my favorite, Taylor,14 Carlo,14 Ross 13."

"You kept them."

"No, I found where they went after the spell."

"That was a dream I made you have."

"Maybe but you forgot one thing," said James pulling the Microchip out of his head.

"That was Eric's!"

The voice was Malok. She jumped out and tried to grab James. Matt came out of nowhere and cut Malok's foot. "Oh yeah, and I cured Ross and Carlo." Malok screamed as Taylor and Carlo shot down at her. Ross shot a sniper from a chandelier of the Mall, "God! I hated those pipes, Thanks James!" Carlo ran out from a shop, his fingers had been warped and had changed. They had webbing and there were gills on Carlo's neck. Hundreds of monsters jumped out at James from around the mall. James started to maul the monsters with his new hand. Malok hid behind a hot dog stand and started to use magic. Flaming bullets flew at James as he ran up to where Ross was. Ross dropped his sniper and grabbed two pistols.

James closed his eyes and started to hum a song. "Bb, D, F, repeat," said Matt clapping. James stopped and watched the world around him change. This had happened to Eric. James saw a completely new Mall, but Matt saw James sitting on the ground. James had learned how to switch between D's dream and what was really happening. It all revolved around D. James saw D still in the new mall. She was shopping, for something?

James walked to her, "D, are you alive?," the girl stopped and looked at James.

"Who are you?"

"Its me, James!"

"James?"

"Come on, this is Heaven to you. I killed you in the real world."

"So, I'm going over there now, creep."

James stood there and closed his eyes. He appeared back into the battle with something in his arms. He opened his eyes and smiled. His child, Violet, was in his arms. "Daddy saw Mommy?," asked the child confused. James started to cry and he held violet tight. "Come on guys! We're going home!," said James holding out his hand. James chanting something that couldn't be understanded. A portal opened, and all the kids started to jump down. Carlo picked up violet and ran in. Ross started to climb down from the roof and jumped into the portal. James lowered his hands and opened his bag. He pulled out a bomb labeled, dream eater. "Bye Bye, Malok." James pulled the trigger on the bomb and set it off. James entered to portal and let it close behind him.

James fell through the portal and was in a forest. A small house was in front of him. A stone path led forward the the log cabin. All James saw was a surprised D being hugged by all the kids. Even Violet was there.

"Who are you?," asked D.

"Close your eyes and imagine a place of amazement and wonder. Picture and think of me." D stood up walked forward and kissed James right on the lips. "D... will you marry me?"
