The First One

Ten Years Later

Maddie picked up little James and carried him over to Eric. "Matt!," called Eric from the kitchen where he was making a dish of bread. A white puppy came running over. It started to lick Eric like crazy. "Eric, hold James," said Maddie. Eric grabbed James and gave him a piece of bread. "Daddy, where did you put the daggers?," asked James. Eric looked at his with his are you kidding me face. "There are the mean guys outside," said James. Eric put James down and pulled the bow off from above the TV.

Eric walked outside and started to hum. He shot an arrow at a bounty hunter then took the form of the dog Matt. He ran up to another hunter and bit him. He changed back to normal, "Never come attack my family again, chumps!," screamed Eric. He went back inside kissing Maddie. James ran up to Eric, "Did I, um miss anything?"

About a week earlier another group of bounty hunters had attacked Eric's family. James was playing outside when they came through the back door. James heard Maddie scream and ran into the house. When he got inside he found Eric and Maddie being choked by two bounty hunters. He grabbed the bow and shot an arrow into the one holding Eric. Eric grabbed the daggers and stabbed the last bounty hunter.

James waited until Maddie or Eric hugged him, but they just went back to work. So, James wanted to prove himself. What James didn't know is that something bad was happening to Eric and Maddie. What he did know was that it was going to happen soon.
