Maddie and Matt had been walking through the snow after they killed the spider for hours. They had found a small cave that they decided to set up camp in. When they got inside they put down Maddie's makeshift bed. When they laid down on the hard rock floor Maddie's back felt like it would snap. She sat there with Matt in her lap. In the corner of the room there was a small golden statue sitting on the floor.
