"James!" Said Eric waking up. Eric looked around his room and saw the knocked over TV. HE walked into the kitchen where his sister was sitting on the floor.
"You talk in your sleep Eric," said his sister.
"Wait, I was sleeping?"
"Of course, you kept saying James or whatever."
"How long have I been asleep?"
"Sense you had your eye fixed."
Eric felt his eyes, both were still their and his side didn't hurt like it used to. He closed one eye nothing happened. Was that really a dream, thought Eric. "Oh, right your girlfriend or whatever is outside," said Eric's sister. Eric opened to front door and took a step forward. Suddenly he started falling through flashing lights and people falling the other directions. One person was going up. Eric finally hit the ground and went blind for a few seconds. Eric got up and looked around. He was in a small cramped room with the bounty hunter logo on the window. An outline of a girl sitting next to him was visible, but Eric couldn't make out who it was. A bundle of blue hair grazed his face as the figure jumped out the window. Eric tried to walk but fell on the way. His eye started to bleed. Eric put his hand to his eye to realize it was gone. Eric crawled to the door and smashed his head on the window sill and passed out.
"Eric!,Eric," came a voice. The figure of the girl was sitting over Eric. Eric looked at his hand. He was younger, he wasn't wearing glasses, his hair covered his missing eye. "Hello," said Eric, his voice was raspy. He felt something push against his lip to see the outline of the girl hovering over his face. "I had to make you younger, you were dying of age, so was I," said the figure. The figure was Maddie, her hair was dyed blue instead of its normal silver blonde. Eric got up, he looked around. The room was empty. Eric tried to open the door that he first saw. It was stuck, but was slightly opened.
A crash came from below them. The floor started to sink down and Maddie grabbed onto Eric. The floor collapsed under them and landed in an interrogation room. Eric and Maddie landed in a chair across from a tall figure without a head. James was tied to the floor in the corner of the room with D trying to get out of her ties. Frodjilk Stuck out a hand, "Give me the dagger's Harpy!," demanded Frodjilk. Maddie tried to stand up, but she was tied to the chair. Before she could blink Frodjilk was able to get behind her and put a knife to her arm. "Where are they!," screamed Frodjilk. Eric suddenly felt his chest and realized he had lost the cloak. He was wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Eric dug his fingernails into the rope that held him. Frodjilk cut Maddie's arm and stabbed the knife into her leg. "Ten seconds Harpy, or I'll take all her blood," whispered Frodjilk looking directly into Maddie's eyes.
Eric cut the rope and quickly got near James. "Where did you put them?," whispered Eric. James reached into his pocket, his hand couldn't go back far enough. James pointed at his pocket. Eric grabbed two rings out of his pockets and put them on. A burst of blue light in the shape of the daggers shone into the headless monster. The two daggers appeared and Eric smiled, "Don't hurt my family," Frodjilk was ready though. He slit Maddie's throat and rushed forward and held Eric by the neck. "Dad!," screamed James ripping the ropes. James jumped onto Frodjilk's back. James punched him right where his head used to be.
Frodjilk fell to the ground dropping Eric. Eric ran over to Maddie who was still, unbreathing, dead. Eric put out his hand, Davis burst into the room. "Mojilk tif silo abocu," said Eric, whose voice echoed. A bright light surrounded Maddie as she began to wake up. "Woah, you didn't tell us your dad knew black magic," said Davis looking at James. James untied D, who quickly jumped up. D left the room holding onto James's arm. Eric followed them out as Davis stood frozen about how Eric used black magic.
