The First One

15 Days Later

"Piece of, ugh," D sat on a rock putting water on a wound. D had fallen down into a cave and cut her leg clean open. D rubbed the water on the leg until the blood went away. Then she wrapped a bandage around her thigh and lower leg. A bottle fell from the hole above her. A small note was inside with ten bandages and small knife. The note read, what those people told you is a lie, I never even dated you, let alone four other girls. D smiled and tried to stand up. She picked up her bag and started to climb out of the cave.

When D got out of the cave she looked around in the forest for some shelter. Birds were chirping and no monsters could be seen or heard anywhere. The Giant's head poked out from the top of a tree a couple of miles away. D limped over to a tree and started to drink her water. James jumped down from a tree, "I did it D!," yelled James picked up D.

"What did you do?"

"I fixed my head and found Eric's old gear." James held out both the daggers.

"Well, bye, or are you going to attack me again?"

"No, I can stop the monsters, they listen to me."

"They What!?"

"Yeah, I can control them, cool right?"

D stood up and walked side to side. "I hate y-" she was cut off by James. Kissing her. James let go, "Come on, I'll show you." James held out the microchip and pointed at his head. D grabbed it and held it to her head. A rush of flashbacks popped into D's mind, she could remember everything from her life. "Use your powers now," said James turning into a monster. D's claws started to come out of her wrists. D was transforming into a monster. When it ended she was able to jump above the trees with James.

"Come on!," yelled James from a couple of yards away.

After a while of running on trees D and James came before a large mushroom like castle. James knocked on the door and a little hamster crawled out from under. The hamster had wings, the tail of a cat, and the claws of a tiger. "That's Matt, he's named after Eric's child who climbed "the tower" to save Eric's life," said James. The Door opened and a teenage boy with a person covered in armour appeared. "Drew!," screamed D running forward. Drew was thought to have been shot by James when James escaped prison with Jeffy and Will. "And Rari," said Drew pointing at that the person in the armour.

The armoured person took off her helmet to reveal a 30 year old girl, with green eyes and blonde hair. "Rari," said the Lady putting out her hand. D shook it to see Matt fly back onto someone's shadow. Suddenly, a bang came from behind James and D. The same person D saw in the Mall had tried to shoot a bullet down at Rari. "It's.." Rari started, "My sister." James grabbed D's arm and pulled her into the moat around the castle. "We need to get into the castle," said James grabbing the gun out of his pocket. "I saw her, she hates that I used a gun," replied D. James looked at D and shot a couple of shot without looking. "Guns can rip through her like its butter," said James reloading the weapon. The shadow teleported behind D and grabbed James's gun. D turned around and shot the shadow in the chest, making her fall to the ground. The hood over the shadows face came off and revealed a burned molded face.

James grabbed the shadows arms and started to drag her towards the water of the moat. "Get off me," said the shadow flailing around. James laughed and stabbed an arrow from D's bag into the shadows shoulder. The arrow went all the way through the shadow and hit the ground. The shadows shoulder had been stuck to the ground. "Kill her!," screamed Matt attacking smaller shadows that the main shadow had summoned. Rari screamed, "No, she's family!," Rari jumped down from the bridge. She pulled the arrow out of the shadow's shoulder and threw the shadow into the moat. The shadow suddenly disappeared and left no trail.

"What was that," asked D.

"Malok, she's Rari's sister," said James.

"Where did she come from?"

"She was born when Rari's brother, Radriar, killed their dad."

"So, she's like a spirit?"

A crash came from the castle and smoke filled the air. D picked up her gun and climbed out of the moat. A fire was spreading all around the castle and the monsters were running around. One monster was laying out his guts and skin on the castle. The guts would spread and leave a portal for the monsters to travel through. D ran at the portal and jumped through it. D teleported through the guts only seeing flashbacks and blood all around her. Suddenly, she appeared near a giant heart in the form of a monster.

James followed her and jumped through the portal changing into the form of a monster. James landed on his feet. He was standing in front of D, and she was laying on the ground. D's arm had been cut open and her foot was cleanly split off. "D!," James ran over to D and picked her up. She was unconscious and blood was pouring out of her shoulder. James turned into a human and ripped off his sleeves of his sweater. James wrapped the sleeves around D's wounds and lays her up against a pile of bones. "D! Wake up!," James was screaming at D's body laying on the pile. D's eyes open a little bit but quickly close when a giant group of four hundred monsters staring from the giant heart. "End my life," said James sarcastically grabbing D's not wounded arm and pulling her behind him back into the portal.

"Mojink Nicto Briktalo!," screamed James opening a different portal halfway through the other. James and D fell to their knees and landed in the middle of the neighborhood Eric grew up in. James picked up D and ran into Eric's old house. James rested D down in Eric's old room and James ran into the bathroom. He rummaged through all of the drawers and pulled out pain medicine and bandages. James pulled a piece of metal out of D's leg and wrapped the bandages around D's arm and leg. D groaned and passed out.
