The First One

PART 2 - James, 18

"Eric, We have to leave now!," screamed Maddie from behind the kitchen counter. An explosion came from the front door and voices could be heard. "Where's James," asked Eric throwing the Golden dagger at the one of the Bounty Hunters. Eric pulled out his bow as James ran across the room and grabbed the golden dagger. James grabbed one of the bounty hunters and threw him to the ground. The hunter hit the floor and tried to get up. James put his foot on the hunter's stomach and stabbed the dagger into his head. Maddie ran to James and grabbed the pistol the hunter was using.

Another hunter kicked down the basement door and threw a smoke grenade on the main floor. The hunter ran up the stairs and grabbed James. Maddie shot the hunter in the head as two more came running up the stairs. Eric shot an arrow through one hunter's foot, while Maddie shot the other in the stomach three times. "It's out of ammo, James go upstairs," Demanded Maddie just as the smoke started to fade away. Eric ran up stairs and grabbed a shotgun off a dead hunter's body. Right as Eric started to go downstairs a Bounty Hunter grabbed Eric's arm and dragged him back. "Maddie!" screamed Eric. Maddie took the golden dagger from James and ran upstairs. As she got there the hunters had taken Eric.

Eric was being pulled down the backyard stairs with a sack on his head. The hunters threw him into a truck and started to drive off. James grabbed the bow and both daggers from Maddie. He shot one arrow at the truck's wheels but missed. James felt a hand touch his back, then heard a scream. He turned around to see Maddie being held by two hunters. James tried to stop them by chucking the daggers at them but only one hit the hunter on he left in the shoulder. A burst of light came out of nowhere and everything went black.

James woke up in a dorm room with bunks all around him.

"Hello!," called James.

"Shut up, you bloody retard," called a kids voice from a different bunk.

"Who's there."

"Names Matt, but you can just call me Harpy."

"You mean like my Dad's last name?"

"Dude, you have a lot to learn about our Dad."

Matt started to tell James about Eric, and how he can die multiple times. Matt also talked about how many kids Eric has had. "I am part of the first group of kids, it was Will, Drew, then Me." James looked around confused. "Where are we?" asked James looking at Matt. Matt laughed and pointed at a sign. Wait until next dynasty, thank you. said the sign. James realized that the bedroom he was in was a prison for the forgotten kids. James got up and looked around the room. About twenty kids were in the room. James went over to the door and tried to open it, it was locked. James looked under every bed until he came along a really young boy. The boy was looking under the bed unscrewing something. The boy jumped, "Oh, you scared me you must be the single, you know that you are the first kid to live an only child, I lived with Jeffy over there but always refuses-" "Shut it," said James.

James pushed the kid out of the way and looked under the bed. An almost opened vent shaft was there. James grabbed the screwdriver from the kid and kicked down the vent. "Please report to the lunch room!" came a voice from the intercom. "Come on," said Matt opening the used to be locked door. When they got to the lunch room they saw the leader of the place standing in front of everybody. "I'm going to start calling names of people who get to leave." James looked at Matt who looked scared. "Jeffy, Hex, Jacob, Riley, Samantha, Tiffany, Alexis!" Said the man standing in the front. James looked at Matt who made a sigh of relief.

"What's wrong, you had the chance to leave," asked James.

"I've seen what they do when they take you out," said Matt quietly.
