Anti blurred to the floor below. Upon reappearing his vision blurred slightly. His body couldn't handle much more of his transporting. Never the less though, he spotted (Y/n) on the ground and made his way over to her as quickly as he could.

"(Y/n)," He breathed trying to focus his vision.

He fell to his knees and immediately.

"Don't touch'er!" Sean yelled.

Anti's hands stopped just over her.

"Why?! She needs help—"

"Anti, she's bleeding under her shirt. Something's poking up."

His eyes moved down just under her breast. An abnormal point pushed against her t-shirt. He gently grabbed the blood-soaked cloth and pulled it apart. The tip of a nail poked through about an inch through her rib-cage.

"No," Anti breathed.

"Anti—" (Y/n) spoke weakly.

He looked up at her face a bit relieved to see her alive.

"(Y/n), yer alive."

"Can't get rid of me that easy.." She smirked.

Her eyes looked upwards at the hole in the ceiling then down to the nail sticking through her chest.

"Looks like I've got myself into quite a mess this time, huh?"

Anti held the side of her face, "Why'd you have to do that? Why'd you come and help? This wouldn't have happened if you just—" His words grew angrier as he spoke.

She reached over and placed her hand on top of his. "You and I both know you can't beat Dark on your own."

"I don't care if I beat that bastard! I don't care if he takes me life! For the first time in me miserable fooking life I want to protect something and I can't even do that." He took a deep breath. "At least if I died, I'd die knowing --"

She never saw so much raw emotion from the demon before her. Nor did she believe he even contained such emotion. Sean was even surprised to hear words like that come out of his mouth, but he was also feeling the same way. Even worse, he could only watch.

"Anti, tell me, is what Die said about the pure heart true?"

"What'er you blabberin' about?" He wiped his eyes with his arm.

"When you spoke with Die, I could hear you. If the pure heart falls in love, it can only be passed on the person they're in love with. Is it true?"

"So ye heard that?"

"Is it true?" She repeated.

"Yeah, so what if it is, huh?!" He raised his voice at her once more. "Yer in love, great. No one can get the power of the pure heart. Make my life a whole lot easier."

"Anti," She spoke sternly. "You know where I'm going with this."

And he did.

He knew exactly what she wanted to do.

"No, no— just— No, (Y/n).. How are ye even sure, huh?"

She squeezed his hand lightly. "Look at where we're at, Anti? Look where you're at, more importantly. That goes for you too, Sean. You guys were right by my side, up until the very end."

"This isn't the end, lass.."

"We don't have much more time to decide that."

A tear finally rolled over his eye and slid down his cheek. Anti took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
