My phone was ringing and I looked at it, it was Saturday night, I was getting ready to go out, and I knew it was one of my clients. Truth be told, she was an exceptionally highly stressed women, who always managed to make me feel incompetent.

"Hello." I answered.

"Sophie, it's Grace, William and Marcey haven't gotten their invite, why not?"

I wanted to groan. Instead I lied. " I'm out at the moment Grace, I'll call you as soon as I get my hands on the info."

"Fine." She snapped, hanging up.

I wanted to scream, I was 100% sure she had crossed them off the list, hence why they didn't get their invite.

I looked in the mirror, not bad, I thought. I was meeting my friend Carly for a few drinks at a quiet bar in town, and I certainly needed them after the week I'd had.

I caught a cab and when I walked in Carly had a drink and a shot waiting for me, godbless her.

"I knew you'd need them." She said as I sat down.

I took a mouthful of the beer then threw down the shot. "You have no idea." I ordered more shots.

"So, bad week?" She asked me.

I nodded as the band came on. We sat there, drinking and talking, listening to the music. It was good just too relax.

"Hey." Someone called out. "Wedding planner."

I cringed, god no. I turned around as him and another guy made there way over to us.

He sat down next to me. "Imagine running into you, I thought you'd be at a wedding or something.

"Yes, because that's all I do." I snapped.

He smirked at me. "This is Zack." He indicated to his friend who sat down next to Carly, as if we didn't know who he was. "This is the wedding planner."

God, did he have to call me that.

Carly laughed "I'm Carly and her name is actually Sophie."

"I'll go and get some drinks then." Brian said standing up.

"We're fine." I said quickly, but it was too late, they were already heading to the bar.

Carly raised her eyebrows at me and I shrugged.

"So, I gather you met him through work?" Carly asked, she knew I had taken on Matt and Ana as clients.

"Oh I did, he's an arrogant pig and I can't stand the sight of him." I hissed leaning over closer to her.

"Yes, he seems very sure of himself." We both looked at them, standing at the bar.

We noticed girls tripping over themselves to get their attention. They seemed oblivious to it.

They headed back over to us, all the girls watching them, including us.

"Here we are ladies." Zack said, sitting back down next to Carly.

Brian sat down, looked at me and picked up a shot. "Cheers." He said throwing it down.

I took that as a challenge. He bugged the hell out of me. I grabbed a shot, looked at him and drank it, smiling.

He burst out laughing. "Wedding planner, I'm surprised."

"Stop with the wedding planner shit." I drank another shot.

"Yes mam." He drank another.

"You two need to slow down." Carly said "Or we'll have to carry you out."

"Nothing new there." Zack said.

"He started it." I said picking up another.

He smirked, again. I wanted to slap him. "Yes I did."

Suddenly my phone rang, I groaned, it was Grace again.

Brian snatched it up. "Wedding planners phone....no I'm sorry she's busy.......I will most certainly let her know that you called.......Okay, bye."

He handed it back. "It was Grace, call her back when you get a moment."

I looked at him, he was completely and totally unbelievable and I hated him.
