Chapter 65

Someone knocked on my door and disturbed me, I was in the middle of doing absolutely nothing.

I opened the door to find Ana standing there crying. She shoved a bag at me. I looked inside and smiled.

"Oh Ana."

She looked at me and sobbbed, I pulled her into my arms and hugged her.

"Are you sure?" I asked her.

"No, I'm not sure, not at all." She was clinging too me.

"Do you want to find out?"

She nodded and wiped her face.

I led her to the bathroom. "You know what to do right?"

She nodded and closed the door.

I sat down and a few minutes later she came out.

"Five minutes." She whispered, sitting next to me.

"So what makes you think you are?" I put my arm around her.

"I was just thinking and I realised I hadn't had my period for six weeks at least, and oh god, I'm so horny."

I burst out laughing. "Hormones."

She nodded and sighed.

"Are you okay with it Ana?"

"I don't know." She looked at me, the tears were back. "I'm scared."

I hugged her and we waited in silence, eventually she stood up. "It's time."

She went into the bathroom then came out and sat back down.

I didn't say anything, well at least until I couldn't stand it anymore.

"Well?"

She nodded and burst into tears again.

"Ana, isn't this good news?" I asked hugging her again.

"I don't know."

"What, why?"

She looked at me. "I'm scared Sophie, what if it happens again, I couldn't cope if it happened again."

I felt so bad for her, she looked terrified.

"Ana you can't think like that."

She groaned. "It's all I can think about."

"You need to stop, think about Matt, he'll be over the moon."

"I can't tell Matt." She looked at me like I'd said something terrible.

"You have to tell Matt."

"No I don't, no way. I refuse to put him through that again Sophie, I won't do it." She really was terrified.

"Ana, he loves you, he married you, he would want to be there for you."

She sighed. "Your right Sophie."

We sat there in silence until we heard Brian's car.

Ana quickly stood up. "I'm sorry Sophie, I really am."

"It's fine, now go home and tell Matt and call me anytime, day or night." I hugged her.

"Sophie." She whispered. "I'm so happy but I don't want to jinx this."

I hugged her back, hard. "It'll be fine Ana, enjoy it and congratulations."

"What's going on?" Brian asked, walking through the door.

"Just catching up." I said kissing his cheek.

"Okay well we can talk later."

I watched her walk to her car smiling.

"So your all made up then?" He asked.

"Yes, and did you get done what you wanted?"

"I most certainly did." He pulled me into his arms, grinning.

"So what was it?" I was curious.

"None of your business, but do you wanna fool around?"

Of course I did.
