Chapter 60

Brian's POV

I was just laying here, looking at Sophie, waiting for her to wake up. I'd wake her up soon, but I knew she was tired, we had some lunch thing at Matt and Ana's today, though I didn't know what for, I mean they'd had a whole damn wedding yesterday.

I had Sophie in my arms and I kissed her forehead, I continued looking at her, brushing the hair off of her face. She was a heavy sleeper, actually a bomb could go off in here and she still wouldn't wake up.

I put my hand on her stomach, I always did, I couldn't help it if I was excited, and Sophie didn't mind.

So I layed there, I realised I'd been looking at her for an hour and it was getting late.

"Sophie." I whispered in her ear.

I hated waking her up, she could be a little cranky.

"Soph." A bit louder.

"What?" She snapped.

"I'm sorry but it's getting late."

She groaned. "I don't want to go."

"I know but we have too." I wanted to go, I really wanted to go. "I'm going to tell Jimmy."

She opened her eye's and looked at me. "You are?"

"I can't keep it a secret any longer, I gotta tell someone."

She smiled at me. "In that case we should get ready now."

"Why so early?" I was happy laying here.

"We need to go and see my mother." She waggled her eyebrows at me.

Shit, her mother, I didn't know how she'd react to Sophie being pregnant.

"I guess we should go there on the way."

She nodded and smiled, pulling my lips down to hers. "I'll shower, oh and I love you."

I watched her walk into the shower, I wanted to join her but no distractions today, today was baby day and I was very fucking excited.

We got ready and headed over to Sophies mom's place on the way. We pulled up and as we were walking to the door I felt a little nervous.

"It's okay." Sophie said, kissing me at the door.

"What if she rips my head off?" I asked as she knocked.

She just smiled at me, well that didn't make me feel any better.

We went in and made small talk, her mom was always happy to see us, I mean she'd practically pushed us together, so she'd be happy about a baby, right?

"Ma, we've got something to tell you." Sophie just suddenly announced.

"Well tell me then." No nonsense Adelina, like mother like daughter.

"Your going to be a Nona."

I was eyeing how far the door was if I had to make a run for it.

"A Nona?" She asked incredibly.

Sophie nodded and thank god she started clapping her hands and jumping up and down on the spot.

"Oh my baby, your having a baby." She hugged Sophie, hard, judging by the faces she was pulling at me.

"And you." She turned to me. "While I don't approve of you touching my daughter without marrying her." She giggled, fuck I hope she was joking. "Congratulations, you know I adore you."

Thank god, she hugged me.

We left Sophies mom very excited and already picking up the phone.

"Well that went well." I said to Sophie as we were driving.

"Very well." A dark look passed over her face. "I just hope everyone else is excited for us."

I took her hand, I knew she was worried and I knew that by saying everyone else she meant Ana.
