Chapter 77

"How do I look?" I asked, turning to Ana and my mom.

"Oh you look beautiful." Mom sobbed.

I turned back to the mirror, I hoped I looked beautiful, this was the most important day of my life.

"My baby's getting married."

I watched Ana hug my mother, consoling her.

"Let's go." Ana said.

Ana looked wonderful too. The hair stylist had managed to do her hair in a way that you couldn't see her wound and the make up girl had covered her bruises.

We went to the cars, I got in one with mom, Ana got in the other.

Holy shit I was marrying Brian. The Brian Haner Jr. The arrogant prick that I hated when I first met.

Oh shit I was going to cry.

I looked out the window as we approached the beach. It was a beautiful day. A perfect day to get married.

I could see everybody as we pulled up. It was a small gathering, just close friends and family.

"Ready?" Ana asked, helping me out of the car.

I nodded. I didn't trust myself to speak.

"I'm so happy for you Sophie." Mom said kissing my cheek and hooking her arm through mine.

The area was decorated nicely, there was even carpet, making an aisle between the chairs for the guest.

I stood there at the start, watching Ana walk down. I hadn't looked at Brian yet, I didn't trust myself too.

Matt was standing there, looking very handsome in his suit, grinning like an idiot at Ana. You'd think they were getting married again.

Mom squeezed my arm.

"Ready?" She whispered.

I nodded looking up.

There he was, standing there, smiling, looking perfect.

I felt tears start to run down my cheeks, and the baby kicked, almost like it knew Mommy and Daddy were getting married.

We started walking and now I'd  looked at him, I couldn't look away. It seemed to take forever to get to him, but finally I did.

He held out his hand and I took it.

"Are you sure Sophie?" He whispered, leaning over.

I wiped my face nodding. "Are you sure?"

He chuckled. "I've never been so sure in my life."

I smiled at him.

"I love you with all my heart Soph." He whispered.

I burst into fresh tears.

That soppy bastard.
