Brian's POV

I couldn't believe Sophie, the way she carried on this morning, it had honestly pissed me off, for about an hour, because to be honest I couldn't stay mad at her. But she didn't need to know that. I refused to call her during the day, well just because. I didn't even call her after Ana called me upset by Sophies no show. Admittedly it bothered me a bit, Sophie not showing up because it indicated just how pissed off at me she really was.

We finished early, well because Shads was in the shit too. Women, never happy.

I was going to go straight home and just spend the night there but the thought of actually not seeing Sophie, yeah, I didn't like it.

I called her on the drive over but she didn't answer, I didn't expect her too.

When I arrived at her place her apartment was all dark and when I pressed the buzzer there was no answer. Strange. Maybe she was still out with Ana.

I pulled out my phone and called her.

"Hey." She sounded happy.

"Ana is Sophie with you?" No doubt she was.

"Brian, she never showed up. See, now I'm worried."

Crap, I was in deep shit if she didn't go out with Ana.

I hung up and stood there looking up at her apartment, suddenly I saw a dim light, like one of the lamps being flicked on. She was home, I knew it.

I pressed the buzzer again, still no answer.

What to do now? I stood there thinking. Of course, the girl in No.2.

I pressed the buzzer.

"Yello" Strange girl.

"Oh hey hi Synyster Gates here."

"Are you in the shit again?"

"It would appear so."

"Fine." Buzzzz, door open.

I made my way upstairs and as I reached her apartment the lady from next door stuck her head out.

"She's been banging around and crying in there all afternoon, please tell her to be quiet."

Shit, crying, I was in trouble.

I knocked on the door. "Soph, let me in."

I thought I heard a sob, I frowned, strange.

"Look, let me in, I'm sorry."

Another muffled cry, and I swear I heard another voice. I didn't like this.

I grabbed the knob and started turning it. Locked. I banged on the door.

I heard something that made my blood run cold. A male voice whispering. "Tell him."

"Go away Brian, please." And she sobbed and something was so very wrong.

I started banging on the door. "Open the fucking door." And, god, I could hear her crying.

"What is going on." Nosey neighbour.

Thankgod. "Call the police, quickly."

She nodded and went back inside.

What could I do? I started banging on the door, belting it actually, but fuck, security, I couldn't budge it.

"Sophie." I called, she was crying and I had to get to her.

"Leave." A man's voice. Who the hell was that?

I banged harder but I couldn't get in.

"Nooo, no no please." Oh god, her voice, what was going on?
BANG

I stepped back from the door.

It was a gun shot.
