Brian's POV

I was worried about Sophie, she looked okay, but I knew she was worried, more than she let me know.

I was excited to tell someone about the baby, so Jimmy was it, I mean he was my best friend.

I'd waited until we were by ourselves.

"So, Sophie and I have some news." I just blurted out.

"Your not getting married?"

"What? No." Marriage, where did that come from?

"Sorry, I just thought, but anyway, what?" Jimmy asked.

"So." I lowered my voice. "We're gonna have a baby."

Jimmy started whooping and slapping me on the back, everyone was looking at us and I had to tell him to shut up.

"But honestly, that's great news." Jimmy said.

I was pleased he was happy for us, it meant alot.

"Let's drink too that." He said, shoving a beer in my hand.

We stood there talking about it, but shut up when Matt came over.

I noticed Sophie came out of the house, she looked tired and upset and it bothered me, alot.

I watched her sit down, then went over.

"Hey." I said, putting my hand on her shoulder.

"Hey." She grabbed my hand, she was definitely upset.

"You okay?" I asked her quietly.

"Yeah." She said nodding.

She was lying, I could tell.

"Do you want to go?" I leant down and whispered in her ear.

She didn't say anything, she just nodded and stood up.

I pulled her close and kissed her forehead. "Let's go then."

We said our goodbyes, Sophie put on a happy face but as soon as we got in the car she lapsed into silence.

She was driving, so I put my hand on her leg and squeezed it, she smiled, good.

We got home and changed, I just put on a pair of sweat pants, and layed on the couch, it was time to relax and do nothing.

Sophie came down and I sat up and pulled her onto my lap.

"So, what's up babe?" I asked her.

She didn't answer me, she just shook her head.

"Soph." I whispered, wrapping my arms around her and pulling her close.

She layed her head on my shoulder and we sat like that for a few minutes, until I realised she was crying.

"Sophie, tell me." I hated seeing her like this.

"It's just Ana, I don't want to tell her, I don't want her to hate me."

"She won't hate you baby." I kissed her.

"I'm scared what everyone will say." She looked at me. "But mostly I don't want you to think I'm not happy, because I am."

She started sobbing, I held her close and let her cry.

"I know your happy."

"I am Brian, I love you and I love our baby."

"Good." I kissed her. "And you know what Sophie, this is our life, we can be happy, I don't care what anybody else thinks, it's our baby and we can be as happy as we like about it."

"Your right." She was calming down. "I'm tired of hiding it, I want everyone to know that I'm pregnant with your baby and I'm proud of it."

"Me too, so lets just tell them, and if they're not happy, too bad."

"Okay." She smiled at me.

We sat there like that for a long time, me holding her, until I realised she'd gone to sleep.

I kissed her face and looked at her, I couldn't imagine not having her in my life, it was hard to remember what it was like before I met her.

I had a thought, I couldn't believe it, it even shocked me, but as I looked at her, it felt right.
