Brian's POV

I pulled over down the road a little way. I was so fucking angry I was shaking. Who the fuck did she think she was?

I wanted to call someone, talk to someone. Not Jimmy, I mean he had a baby, imagine his reaction. I couldn't call Matt, him and Ana were trying for a baby, Ana would be devastated, yeah, that would be bad.

Zack, I'd go to his house.

I went over and thank fuck, the first thing he did was hand me a beer. It was what I needed.

I sat there and blurted all my problems to him, he didn't judge or pass comment. He was a good friend.

"Give her a couple of days Brian. Maybe she'll come around."

"She's getting rid of it in a couple of days." I still couldn't fucking believe it.

"I'm sorry dude."

We sat there, talking, actually I talked, he listened. We kept drinking and we both ended up pretty shit faced.

I ended up crashing at Zacks and when I woke up I felt like shit. I had a filthy hangover and I was still pissed at Sophie.

I got up, I guess I'd better go home. I hoped she was gone when I got there. I meant it, I never wanted to see her again.

Her car was still there when I pulled up. I decided I would have a shower and then tell her to get out. I wanted her gone.

I went upstairs, she was sleeping. She was sound asleep, she looked terrible.

Fuck her, I thought walking into the bathroom.

I had a long shower, I just stood there letting the water run over me, thinking.

I got out, put on a pair of shorts, because they were there, and this point I couldn't have given a fuck about anything.

I walked out into the bedroom. She was still sleeping. I sat on the edge of the bed and she stirred.

"Sophie." I said harshly.

She sat up, looking at me.

"You need to leave." There, I'd said it.

She nodded her head, then she did the thing I hated, the one thing I couldn't handle seeing her do. She burst into tears.

I looked at her. Fuck, I hated seeing her hurting. I pulled her into my arms and buried my face in her hair. Damn I loved this woman.

She wrapped her arms around me and clung to me.

"Sophie, baby, please don't do this."
